Description

This little girl truly is a diamond in the ruff. Sadly, Diamond previously lived in hoarding situation with 14 other dogs. She was underfed, is missing the top half of her right ear, and has several wounds across her body. Despite all of what Diamond has endured, she is an amazing girl. Affectionate with everyone she has met, Diamond warms up quickly to new people. She gives kisses and little tail wags that light up a room. Now that Diamond has a warm and loving foster home, she has the opportunity to shine. Currently living with both cats and dogs, Diamond is adjusting well to pack life and is learning that she will receive regular meals, attention, and proper socialization. If Diamond sounds like the right dog for your household, please ask about her today.

Care for these hoarding rescues is putting a severe strain on MAGSR's resources. Donations towards their treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs.

Updates

Diamond has settled in nicely to her foster home and is hoping for a forever family to come calling soon.  Diamond adores her daily walks, as well as just hanging at home with her pack, whether they be animal or human.  She is fully housebroken, crate trained, and learning her basic commands.  She is food motivated and takes food and treats gently, which helps training go well.  All Diamond's wounds from her previous life are healing well, her skinny frame is beginning to fill in, and her coat is starting to shine again.  She's come a long way in just a few short weeks, and can't wait to get a forever family of her own.
