Description
Josie along with her sister were surrendered to us as their human dad is in hospice care. He loves his girls very much and wants them to have a wonderful life. Josie is understandably quite confused with the recent changes, but will adjust with time. Josie was examined by our vet and found to be what he believes may be cataracts. She will be seen by an eye specialists and receive proper care. Please consider Josie, a family of her own will certainly help her move forward and settle in.
Updates
Josie had surgery for her cataracts and is doing fantastic post-op. She had her first followup appointment and her pressures and eye function is looking great. Josie is learning to navigate better and her anxiety level has lessened now that she can see. Josie does well in a crate and is getting along great with the resident female dog and could care less about the resident rabbit.
