Lizzo is a survivor. After using her for puppies, Lizzo's owner decided that owning her wasn't advantageous anymore. As a result, he gave her away to  someone in the community who left her outside to roam. Without proper care, housing, or food, Lizzo began wandering about the community. Although it was unsafe, Lizzo started regularly running through town to return to her previous residence where a furry friend still resided. Fortunately, a good Samaritan became aware of Lizzo's suffering and was able to arrange for Lizzo to be released to a local rescue in the south. Recognizing that Lizzo would have her best chance at finding the forever home in another region, she was transferred to MAGSR. Although we are still getting to know Lizzo, it is clear that even with all the suffering she has endured that she is an incredible dog. As is true of any dog, Lizzo will thrive in a stable household that will provide her with love, guidance and leadership. As we have the opportunity to learn more about Lizzo, we will post updates.
