Description

Taja is a very active pup. She does not get along with cats. She lives with two older dogs who do not have the same energy level as she does. She is NOT friendly with dogs she doesn't know. She does show aggression towards dogs she sees in her "turf". Food aggression is also an issue, even with the other dogs in a separate area from her, she still growls while eating. She is on the skinny side, she eats twice a day and her food was just changed to high protein to try to get her to gain some weight. She is three months past due on her shots. While we have been looking for a new home for Taja over the past few months, we were not letting her go to an environment that did not suit her. Due to the sudden death of my mother, who was the caretaker for my grandmother, Taja will need to be rehomed. My grandmother will be residing with us soon, and Taja has nearly knocked her down multiple times when she visits. Taja is good with my kids, however, does not like when my kid's friends come to visit. She would be best suited as the only dog in the house, without cats, and without young children. She needs a large yard to run in. We have about an acre, and she is trained on a wireless electric fence. We are not asking for a "rehoming fee", but that the next owner pay to get her caught up on shots before ownership is transferred. Multiple people have showed interest in her, but either didn't follow thru or didn't have an appropriate environment for her.

If you think you can provide a good home for our girl, please contact us. Thank you.
