Jack was surrendered to MAGSR because his family could no longer care for him. Jack is a very handsome, laid back and easy going boy. Jack does well on a leash and knows some basic commands. Jack likes to talk to new people, is crate trained and housebroken. If Jack sounds like he may be a good fit for your family, please ask to meet him.
Whiskey
ADOPTED 05/21/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Whiskey cannot be any cuter and is absolutely a handsome young boy, happy go lucky and confident and loves to give puppy kisses. Whiskey was adopted out as a puppy and was returned to MAGSR after as his family no longer wanted him. Whiskey has a lot to learn about being a good canine citizen and will require training. Please remember that puppies are a lot of work, they need a lot of attention and a watchful eye – they can be a 12-14 year commitment. Puppies are full of energy and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance and training, Whiskey will become even more of an amazing boy than he already is. Please inquire if Whiskey sounds like a good match for your family.
Kaz
ADOPTED 05/14/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Kaz, Kylene, and Kyrie are siblings. All three dogs were turned into a shelter. All are very nice dogs. Kaz is pretty laid back and walks pretty well on a leash. He does enjoy the company of his sisters during his walk. Kaz would be a great companion dog for any family.
Updates:My foster mom tells me I am a gentle giant and a wise soul. When you look into my eyes you immediately feel a deep connection with me. I maybe 6 years old but I still have a spring in my step and will be bounding around when I greet you at the door. If foster mom is not quick enough to get me leashed up to go outside I will let her know I am excited with a few playful barks. I am not fond of toys but will enjoy a marrow bone till it is thoroughly licked clean. I love my sister Kylene so much I will let her steal my bones when I am not looking. Foster mom says I am the most gentle and easy going dog she has had the pleasure to foster. One of my favorite things to do is roll on my back and shimmy myself around either in the grass or on the carpet. I will flop myself on my back just to get some belly rubs. I sleep peacefully on my 42 inch orthopedic bed and would enjoy nothing more than to have someone to spend the rest of my life with.
Unfortunately Kaz was returned to MAGSR after two years because his owners could no longer care for him. Kaz is having some difficulty getting up and down stairs and will be seen by a MAGSR vet to see if there is any relief that can be provided to this sweet boy. Otherwise, Kaz is the epitome of the gentlest giant and gets along with kids, dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. In his previous home, Kaz would let the kitty snuggle up next to him for warmth and security. Kaz is a very easy going boy that just wants somewhere soft to lay his head. He is housebroken and can be trusted to free roam the house. Kaz will follow his human where ever they go even if that means he has to scale the steps to get there. His favorite past time is lounging in sun and rolling on his back for belly rubs. He enjoys sleeping on his back with all 4 paws in the air. Kaz loves car rides and thrives on attention and affection from everyone around him. If you would like to meet a sweet senior, please ask to meet Kaz!
Roxanne
ADOPTED 05/14/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Roxanne was confiscated from her person due to improper care and neglect. She waited patiently in a shelter to begin a new life, as there was a court case. Thankfully the case was won in Roxanne's favor and she is now in our care looking for her forever family. Roxanne has had no training or guidance, she is a blank slate in that regard. She is also has no idea what to do with a leash on and will put up some resistance, our volunteers are working with her. Training is essential for Roxanne and her new family, along with structure and guidance. She is a diamond in the rough, but with training she will shine bright.
Mica
ADOPTED 05/12/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Mica has not had a good life up to this point. She spent all of her time in a crate, most likely having never been outside. She has no idea what a leash is which can make her uneasy. She enjoys human companionship but can become overwhelmed. Mica is a blank slate, she has so much to learn about people and the world. She will need someone with patience to help her build her confidence and to introduce her to the world. She is underweight but with regular, nutritious meals she will be in tiptop shape in no time. Mica deserves the chance to know love, proper care and to just be a puppy....won't you give her that?
Updates:Mica was seen by a specialist as we noticed one of her hips was protruding. Sadly, Mica sustained trauma prior to coming into our care and the hip did not heal properly. She will require FHO surgery in order to correct the hip, for which MAGSR will pay. Some good new is, her other hip is just fine.
Shosha
ADOPTED 05/07/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Shosha came to us from a shelter, so we have no history on her. We are learning more about her, so far we know that she is a friendly girl and enjoys the company of other dogs, although she does play rough. She is a big girl at 94 lbs.
Magic
ADOPTED 05/07/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Magic was surrendered by his family as they were moving into an apartment where Shepherds were not allowed.
He lived with children, cats and other dogs in his previous home. He does like to chase the cats, but we are told he only wants to play.
Magic, of course will require training and guidance from his family so that he can learn good manners.
Abby
ADOPTED 05/06/2017!
Good With Kids: Older Kids Only
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Little Miss Abby is such a charmer! Abby may not be as big in physical stature as her GSD foster siblings (don’t tell her that though!) but this little girl has a heart as big as she thinks she is, and the energy, drive, and enthusiasm to match. Abby has a bubbly personality and loves meeting all new people, and she gets along splendidly with big dogs (like her!) that are familiar to her, however she can get quite stimulated around smaller dogs. Abby is very well behaved at home, and is very happy being out and about, running along with her foster on his bike, and going anywhere in the car. She loves going to training class and has really ramped up on her obedience and manners, where she especially enjoys running the obstacle course. Abby is a whole lot of dog in a small package, is as sweet as can be, and she is guaranteed to bring a great big smile to your face. Please ask to meet Abby if she sounds like she might be the dog for you!
Mia
ADOPTED 05/05/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Mia was adopted from our rescue when she was just a puppy in 2014. Sadly, through no fault of her own, her adopter returned her to MAGSR. As you can imagine, Mia’s world as she knew it has been turned upside down. She is currently in a loving foster home with her foster family helping her with the adjustment. Mia’s foster reports that Mia is adjusting nicely to her foster family and resident dog, is calm and loves the kids. Mia is crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands. If a laid back dog is what your family is looking for, please ask to meet Mia.
Updates:Mia's foster reports that she is the perfect companion dog. Mia is content to be where her humans are. Each night before bed, Mia stretches out to for affection and to snuggle. Mia loves to play outside and go for walks - she walks perfectly on the leash. While out on her walks, Mia greets all of the people she meets with tail wags and kisses. Mia also loves riding and to go places - she jumps right up in the vehicle and lays down in the back on the floor in a small ball. If you are looking for a best friend and companion, Mia could definitely be it! Please ask to meet Mia today.
Mysti
ADOPTED 04/30/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Mysti's former owner surrendered her as he did not have time for her and his brothers alpha female GSD was attacking her. This is the reason that Mysti has some scratches and scars on her nose/muzzle, but they make her no less beautiful. Mysti was being kept in an all black wire metal crate, which was too small for her, out in the sun in 80 degree temperatures. Mysti loves rope toys, kongs and knuckle bones which she will carry around in her mouth. She rides well in a vehicle and did well at her vet visit. She enjoys having her belly rubbed. With proper training, love and encouragement Mysti will be a wonderful family dog.
Duncan
ADOPTED 04/30/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Duncan is a handsome young GSD mix. He has had no training and is full of puppy energy. He adores people, sharing snuggles and puppy kisses. He will require training and guidance so that he understands what is expected of him which will help he be a well behaved family member. Duncan will be a great running or hiking partner, which in turn will help burn some of his energy.
Cyndal
ADOPTED 04/30/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Cyndal was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. She is a sweet, sweet girl who gets along very well with other dogs. She adores people, although we have not seen her with children yet. We also do not know how she would do with cats as she has not met any yet. When Cyndal showed up at the shelter she was missing a rear leg, no one has any history on this as she was stray. She has no problems getting around with only 3 legs. In fact tri-paws adapt to a missing limb and can pretty much do all of the same things as 4 legged dogs. Please don't let her missing limb deter you from asking to meet Cyndal to see for yourself how well she gets around and just how sweet she is.
Updates:Cyndal plays with her new toy. She's settling in at her foster home.
Riley
ADOPTED 04/30/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Riley was surrenderedto us after her family could not longer provide for her. Initially, she was very concerned and anxious about what had happened to the world she used to know. But with time and patience, she has settled in to her new routine at the kennel and has become much better. She's bonded very well to two volunteers in particular and loves to please them.
She is extremely intelligent and loves to learn new things as we attempt to keep her mind stimulated. She appears to be very social with other dogs and we are working on learning about her in that regard. She loves to go on car rides, play ball and can be playful and slightly vocal when in play mode.
Riley lived with children and cats in her previous home. However, just because she grew up with children and cats from puppyhood, this does not guarantee that she will peacefully coexist with every child and/or cat she meets that are new to her. We will not place her in a home with children unless she appears to be completely comfortable with them.
In addition, because of hervery fearful behavior after being surrendered to us, her introductions to new people needs to be taken slowly as she seems to be wary of those she doesn't know. If you are interested in her, please be aware that your introduction may take place over more than one visit with her to help build a relationship with her. She had a difficult time with change but we are committed to helping her get to her forever home and this is a process that may take time.
She will require an experienced handler who understands the undesirable behaviors that fearful dogs can exhibit and how to deal with those behaviors should she be put into a situation that is anything less than completely comfortable for her.
We will continue to update you as we learn more about her.
UPDATE: Riley continues to do well! We recently introduced her to MAGSR alum Snowy, a well socialized, even-keeled, passive female. Riley was very inquisitive about her new canine pal. They got along extremely well during our long walk. In addition to her social interaction, we also introduced her to the in ground pool where she is currently residing. It didn't take her long and she was in the pool swimming like a champ! She seemed very comfortable in the water and quickly learned where the steps were to enter and exit the pool. She's also been on the agility equipment and has been seen following her handler across the catwalk.
Hudson
ADOPTED 04/23/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Hudson was found as stray with a wound on his abdomen. He received immediate medical care and the wound is just about completely healed. Hudson may be 5 years old but he has the energy of much younger dog. A family that enjoys going for long walks, lots of playtime and of course training would be a good match for Hudson.
Sterling
ADOPTED 04/23/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Sterling is a large, handsome sable male GSD. He is young at 3 years old and full of energy. He will need a good training program along with structure and guidance from his family. With Sterling's energy he would make a great running or hiking partner. He is no couch potato, he will require daily exercise to keep his energy in check.
John Boy
ADOPTED 04/21/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
This handsome boy is amazing and ever so sweet.
John Boy was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. This wonderful boy is scared but so friendly. He warms up quickly and he's affectionate with everyone he meets. John Boy will lean into his human and rest his head in his human's lap - he just needs to know what it is to have a family who cares for him and loves him. John Boy's tail wags light up a room. John Boy needs to learn and get comfortable on a leash, but he's a smart boy.
Now that John Boy has a warm and loving foster home, he has the opportunity to shine. Currently living with both kids and dogs, John Boy is adjusting well. If John Boy sounds like the right dog for your household, please ask about him today.
Carter
ADOPTED 04/19/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Meet adorable Carter, an 8 month old German Shepherd mix. Carter found himself as a stray, very underweight out in the cold. He made his way to a home where he was taken in and cared for while they tried to find his family. He was in a home with 11 Hound Dogs and did well with them. He is friendly with everyone he meets. Carter is still putting on such much needed weight, of course good nutrition and regular meals helps with this. Ask to meet Carter, he is ready for stability and a family of his very own.
Updates:Carter is settling nicely in his foster home. Carter is housebroken, crate trained & walks well on a leash. Carter loves everyone he meets and is a complete love bug who showers his humans with kisses and tail wags. Carter rides well in a car and loves to play. If Carter sounds like a good fit for your family, ask to meet him
Oso
ADOPTED 04/19/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Oso a very handsome, big boy weighing in at 105 lbs. Although he is large, he is a gentle giant. Oso's favorite activity is to play with balls, the more balls the better, yes even soccer and basketball size balls. It is imperative that all dogs go through obedience training and Oso is not exception. With a dog of this size you want to have good manners, this will make walking him on a leash much more enjoyable.
Unfortunately Oso was returned to us. Family members moved into his home, after he had lived there over a year, with small dogs that Oso did not get along with, so he got the boot. He was fine with the neighbors female GSD. He came back to us over weight so he has been put on diet, that along with exercise he should be down a good weight in no time.
Updates:Oso sure does LOVE balls, all sizes, squeaky and otherwise, this boy goes nuts for them! He's a very calm, loving sweetheart who will be a great companion on walks or just hanging around. He's easy on the leash, takes treats gently, sits nicely for brushing and knows basic commands. A training class will help with bonding to this honey of a dog, once complete you will have a wonderful friend. Just look at that smile, with his size and demeanor, he's sure to impress!
Oso has been a very good boy in his foster home and very respectful. Oso knows sit and stay until he gets his release command before he goes for his food and he is working on and getting better about taking treats gently. Oso loves belly rubs and loves being petted on the head and around the ears (he's a real fan of shoulder massages). Oso will give his human kisses. Oso is working on his leash manners and after walking a bit, will settle into a nice heel. Oso is a very kind and gentle soul. If Oso sounds like a good fit for your family, ask to meet him.
Oso is settling into his new foster home more day by day. He know basic commands such as sit and down. With a strong leader, he walks well on a leash. Oso is completely house broken and has had no accidents in the house although he doesn't know which door to go to because he hasn't been in his new foster home long enough to know. Oso loves being pet and let's you know he wants attention. He is well behaved in his crate when he can't hear or see anyone. When he knows his humans are around, he wants to be with them. Oso loves being in his foster home but he would love a furever home instead.
Dutchess
ADOPTED 04/18/2017!
Good With Kids: No
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Dutchess came into our care after an urgent last minute plea from the shelter as she needed to be monitored. She had been dumped at a vets office by her person, stating they didn't want her. Dutchess is blind in one eye which was caused by an injury that her person never got medical attention for. She also has a head tilt for reasons unknown at this time. She will be thoroughly examined by our vet and will receive any medical treatment needed once a diagnosis is made. We do know that she had lived her life on a chain. Dutchess has a very sweet personality giving kisses to those she meets. Dutchess deserves a start at a new life, one where her family will properly care for and love her.

Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Sweet Lily came to MAGSR underweight and from a very sad situation. Lily previously lived in a hoarding situation with 14 other dogs. Lily was underfed and used for breeding. Because of all that Lily has endured, she is confused and scared, and she needs to learn to trust and know she'll be well taken care of. Now that MAGSR has Lily, we hope she will quickly adjust and learn that she will receive regular meals, attention, and proper socialization. If Lily sounds like the right dog for your household, please ask about her today.
Care for these hoarding rescues is putting a severe strain on MAGSR's resources. Donations towards their treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs.

Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Sweet Dorma came to MAGSR very emaciated and from a very sad situation. This little girl previously lived in a hoarding situation with 14 other dogs where some would lose out on getting food, which we think is what happened to Dorma because she is skin and bones. She was very underfed and used for breeding. Because of all that Dorma has endured, she is very confused and just needs to learn to trust and know she'll be well taken care of. Now that MAGSR has Dorma, we hope she will quickly adjust and learn that she will receive regular meals, attention, and proper socialization. Updates:Dorma is doing very well in her foster home and is as sweet as can be. Sweet Dorma is on her way to filling out and getting back to the healthy girl she should be. She is very nice to walk and just gets a little excited about squirrels or kids throwing balls - she loves balls. She's pretty good at sit/sit stay when she's being attentive and responds quickly to "no" and learned boundaries. Dorma is housebroken and crate trained. If Dorma sounds like a good fit for your family, please ask to meet her.
Merle
ADOPTED 04/08/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Merle, one of mama Reese’s eleven “Country Pups”, was dumped at a shelter at approximately 3 weeks old prior to MAGSR stepping up to rescue them. Merle cannot be any cuter and is absolutely a great little boy, happy go lucky and loves to give puppy kisses. Merle has a lot to learn about going a good canine citizen and will require training. Please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family - puppies are a 10-12 year commitment. Puppies are full of energy and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance and training, Merle will become even more of an amazing boy than he already is. If interested and he sounds like a good match for your family, please submit an adoption application for Merle! Merle will be available for adoption on March 11that 8 weeks old!
Rocky
ADOPTED 04/07/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Sadly Rocky's person passed away, leaving him to find another family and home. In his previous home he happily lived with 3 Poms. He also did well with visiting grandchildren. He is a great boy, albeit somewhat confused after losing everything he knew. He is currently in a foster home, living with a cat. We are waiting for updates on his behavior with cats, once settled in he will be properly introduced to his feline housemate. Rocky needs some work on his leash manners as he is very strong and pulls hard while being walked. This is easily corrected with proper training. He is housebroken and crate trained.
Updates:Rocky is settling in nicely into his foster home. He happily hangs in his crate with the door open and just watches what's going on. He's doing well on a leash and adores the man of the home and loves to play with him. So far in the home, he's not sure about the cat and a little curious and acts like he's never seen one before and shares the room with the cat with no issue. If Rocky sounds like he could be a good fit for your family, please ask to meet him.
Karma
ADOPTED 04/05/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Sweet Karma came to MAGSR underweight and from a very sad situation. Karma previously lived in a hoarding situation with 14 other dogs. Karma was underfed and used for breeding. Because of all that Karma has endured, she is confused and just needs to learn to trust and know she'll be well taken care of. Now that MAGSR has Karma, we hope she will quickly adjust and learn that she will receive regular meals, attention, and proper socialization. If Karma sounds like the right dog for your household, please ask about her today.
Care for these hoarding rescues is putting a severe strain on MAGSR's resources. Donations towards their treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs.
Updates:Sadly, sweet Karma tested heartworm positive when seen by a MAGSR vet, she obviously was not kept on monthly Heartworm Preventatives which would have protected her. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment to rid her body of Heartworms so that she may enjoy many more years of life. Treatment is expensive but Karma is certainly worth the cost.
Donations towards her treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs
Karma has settled in nicely to her foster home and is enjoying her new life while she awaits her forever home. She enjoys hanging out with her foster brothers and sisters, getting out for her short walks, and giving lots of kisses and tail wags to whomever she can reach. Karma has a sweet and playful personality that gets along with kids and other dogs.
Also, Karma’s heartworm treatment is going well. Treatment is relatively easy to do, it just takes a few months. It requires an oral antibiotic with her meals for the first month, and three injections over the course of last two months. After receiving the injections, she is put on crate restriction to limit activity and help her recovery. This crate restriction is actually a great time to adopt the dog, as it allows the dog to get used to their new home in a calm environment and to slowly introduce freedom in the house. Karma is available for adoption while she’s receiving treatment, so if you’re interested in meeting this sweet girl, contact your adoption coordinator today!
Sweet Karma was returned to MAGSR through no fault of her own - her family was not able to keep her. Karma is finishing up her heartworm treatment and she has been wonderful through it during her crate restriction. Karma is very anxious to be adopted by a family who will commit to her for her life and to start her life heartworm free. ADOPTED 04/05/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Waylon

Waylon, one of mama Reese’s eleven “Country Pups”, was dumped at a shelter at approximately 3 weeks old prior to MAGSR stepping up to rescue them. Waylon cannot be any cuter and is absolutely a great little boy, happy go lucky and loves to give puppy kisses. Waylon has a lot to learn about going a good canine citizen and will require training. Please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family - puppies are a 10-12 year commitment. Puppies are full of energy and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance and training, Waylon will become even more of an amazing boy than he already is. If interested and he sounds like a good match for your family, please submit an adoption application for Waylon! Waylon will be available for adoption on March 11that 8 weeks old!
Bell
ADOPTED 04/01/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Sweet Bell came to MAGSR from a shelter and needs a home of her own. Understandably, Bell is very scared and confused. We hope she will quickly adjust and learn to trust and know that she'll be well take care of. If Bell sounds like the right dog for your household, please ask about her today.
Updates:Bell is quite skittish and frightened with her new surroundings. She would do best in a quiet home with a family that will give her time to adjust and will have the patience to let her settle in. She has no aggression, she is just very unsure with all of the changes in her life. She does find comfort in having other dogs around, this is the only time that her tail is not tucked and actually wags. Once settled into a home we are sure that Bell will shine, she needs to learn to trust.
George
ADOPTED 03/29/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.

George lived on a farm with livestock which was not the life for George. He lived with other dogs and indoor cats but George was too focused on the livestock, going after them any chance he had. George is a friendly big boy with those he meets, he enjoys swimming and going for walks. He often frequented his local home improvement store with his family. He does get excited when meeting new dogs, a slow proper introduction is needed. George is now looking for a home that he does not have to share with livestock, they are just too tempting for him.
Updates: Prince
ADOPTED 03/27/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
I've been adopted, thanks to MAGSR but so many more dogs need their help.

Handsome Prince came to MAGSR from a very sad situation. Prince previously lived in a hoarding situation with 14 other dogs. Prince was underfed and used for breeding. Because of all that Prince has endured, he is confused and just needs to learn to trust and know he'll be well taken care of. Now that MAGSR has Prince, we hope he will quickly adjust and learn that he will receive regular meals, attention, and proper socialization. Prince is a outgoing and very friendly boy. If Prince sounds like the right dog for your household, please ask about him today.
Care for these hoarding rescues is putting a severe strain on MAGSR's resources. Donations towards their treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs.
Updates:Prince is settling nicely into his foster home. Prince loves attention, affection and is super playful. Prince is good with dogs of all sizes. Prince is curious about cats, but no barking or aggression has been seen. He is housebroken and crate trained and does need obedience training, but is very smart and learning quickly. If Prince sounds like a good fit for your family, ask to meet him.

Handsome Hawk was found in an abandoned house, left to fend for himself. Luckily someone found him and he was taken to a shelter. He was a shelter favorite, as he craved human attention and is very friendly. Obviously we know nothing about his history. He has been friendly with our volunteers. Hawk is long hair GSD and estimated to be 5 years old
Mica
ADOPTED 03/26/2017!

We are not sure what Zuri's past was like, but we do know his future is bright, full of love and care. Yes, he receives that from our volunteers, but he desperately wants a loving family and home of his very own. He wants to the enjoy the comforts of home, regular nutritious meals and proper care. Sweet Zuri has hair loss and a skin infection which is being treated. It is believed it was caused by flea dermatitis. His fur is starting to come back in and his skin is healing. Please consider Zuri, give him the chance is so deserves.

Jake was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. His microchip led the shelter to his family but sadly they did not bother to pick him up. Their loss as Jake is a wonderful boy. He is a German Shepherd mix, mixed with a lot of love and sweetness. He is very good with other dogs, both large and small. He is easy and laid back and enjoys human companionship. Ask to meet this sweet boy.
