Courage has significant wounds to all four of his paws and his legs as well as some head wounds. It looks like he was either hit by a car, thrown from a car, or dumped out of a truck while it was moving. These are best guesses just based upon his injuries.
Courage is in a significant amount of pain. However, he remains gentle and friendly.
Courage is unable to bear full weight on one of his back legs and has several deep wounds on his legs and feet. These wounds look infected and are significantly impacting his ability to move easily. Fortunately, MAGSR has a phenomenal vet working with Courage already. He is getting x-rays completed, wound care, antibiotics, and pain medication. Over the next few days we will have a better idea of the full extent of Courage's medical needs.
However, no matter what the prognosis MAGSR will be by his side every step of the way. Although Courage will receive all of the love and care he needs to recover, MAGSR needs help making his Christmas wish come true. Please consider donating to his care so that MAGSR can continue to help dogs like Courage this holiday season.

There are so many ways that you can help at MAGSR. Just like you, there is no doubt we’ll have a number of unplanned needs come up at MAGSR over the next 12 months. It is your help through fostering, volunteering, and your regular financial support that will help others know the joys we have experienced through our fur families As you can imagine our biggest expenses are vet and boarding, so our biggest needs are foster homes and donations.
