Description

Beautiful Bella was picked up as a stray in the south. Walking into an overcrowded shelter, this lovely lady was on borrowed time. However, with her incredibly sweet personality, shelter staff hoped that her family would come and claim her. When no one stepped forward, staff members began reaching out to rescues for help as they knew that Bella was simply too special to miss out on the incredible life she had ahead of her. Having heard their plea for help, MAGSR stepped forward to welcome Bella to the family.

Bella has one of those amazing personalities that easily wins over the hearts and minds of everyone she meets. Sweet beyond measure and an absolute doll, this lovely lady deserves an incredible home that will cherish her for a lifetime. Although we do not know much about her past, it is clear that Bella has at some point lived in a household. She understands many of the ins and outs of living in a home. However, as is true of all GSDs, she will need some time to learn the routines and expectations of her forever family. Socialized well with other people, animals, and in varied environments, Bella seems to adjust well to change, particularly for a GSD. She rides well in the car and loves a good adventure. As is true of all dogs, Bella will benefit from training. Not only will training help Bella develop a strong bond with her forever family but it will also help her develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen.

Unfortunately, we have discovered that Bella is heartworm positive. This diagnosis could have easily been avoided with a monthly preventative. Although heartworm treatment is expensive, Bella is clearly worth the cost. Please consider donating to Bella's care. Your donation will not only help Bella continue to move forward but it will also help us continue to support dogs with medical needs. Bella is in the beginning stages of treatment. She will need to take it easy over the next few months as she heals. If lovely Bella sounds like a good match for your household, ask to meet her today!
