Meka and her brother, Lokki, were confiscated with a large number of dogs. Due to the nature of their seizure, both pups remained with animal control for a few months until they could be released. Although shelter staff worked hard to make sure both dogs had what they needed, they knew that placement through a rescue would be best. When asked if we could bring these two babies into the MAGSR family, we immediately stepped forward. 

Meka is a sweet little girl. Although she is a survivor, she maintains a lovely personality. With all that Meka has endured, she can be a little timid when first meeting new people. However, when given a little time and patience, she warms up for attention and love. As a young pup, Meka has a lot of energy. She is looking for a family that can exercise both her body and her mind on a daily basis. As Meka and Lokki lacked the opportunity to explore the world as young pups, they both have many puppy-like traits at this time. Both will thrive in households where structure, guidance, and leadership are provided consistently. Training will go a long way with Meka. Not only will this help her bond to her new family, but it will also help her develop into a stable and confident canine citizen.
