Will you write the next page in the story of my life?

I'm 2 years young and I am a great dog for an experienced dog owner.

I am what humans call dominant. I'm NOT aggressive, but I think I'm the boss until you put me in my place and show me who the real alpha is. I have worked with a behaviorist and she showed my foster mom how to be more assertive and since then I've been a really good boy. I am very smart! I know sit, paw, and down. We are working on high five! I love my 2 Boxer foster sisters and have been good with other dogs I've met. I am being fed separately right now because I do like to try to eat the other dogs food and I get a little grumpy if they don't want to share! My foster mom is working on helping me learn that this is not a good behavior. Sometimes I try to guard my toys too, but each day I realize more and more that I don't have too. I would do best in a home with either a good fence I can't escape from, or extra land where I'll have freedom to explore some without getting hurt. I am just so curious and sometimes it gets me in trouble! I don't like being alone and I absolutely do not like the crate, so please consider that if you think you may want to adopt me. Did I mention I LOVE KIDS!! I will give chase with cats, but have not hurt one. I really want them to play with me. I would do best in a home with family who will play with me, work my brain, and make sure I get plenty of exercise. I think I'm a lap dog and will curl up with my people any chance I can! I have made such progress since being saved...I just need a home where my family will understand I haven't had the best life up to now, but I promise if you give me a chance I'll love you forever and show you what a great boy I can be. In case you are wondering I am neutered and up to date on my shots, so I'm ready for my forever home today!!
