ZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeusZeus
Gender: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Mix
Approximate Age: 7 years 4 months
Color: Black & Tan
Current Size: 100 lbs
Housebroken: Yes
Obedience Trained: Partially
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Yes
Good With Cats: Yes
Other Dogs OK: Yes
DESCRIPTION:

Zeus was adopted from us as an 8 week old puppy.  He was returned as the adopter claims he is moving and could not find housing that would allow a large breed dog.  Zeus is a wonderful, friendly boy.  He needs some brushing up on his obedience training.  He is over weight and could use to lose pounds, walks, and playtime along with cutting back on his food intake will help him reach optimal weight.  He was often left with a pet sitter who had children and cats, he did fine with all.  In his previous home he lived with other dogs without problems.  Zeus will make a great family addition, please ask to meet him.

Updates:

Zeus is settling in to his foster home. He is very playful and just a big clumsy puppy. Zeus loves to take nice long walks with his foster dad, which is helping him lose a couple of pounds already.  Zeus started off mouthy but is also learning manners in his foster home. Zeus is very affectionate with his foster family and is great with the young child in the home as well. If Zeus sounds like a good fit for you, please ask to meet him.

Color: Black & Tan
Current Size: 65 lbs
Housebroken: Yes
Obedience Trained: No

Good With Kids: Yes
Good With Cats: Unlikely
Other Dogs OK: Yes
DESCRIPTION:

Bristol was not well cared for by her previous person.  She often went without being fed, allowed to run at large putting her in danger of being hit by cars.  She has had no training and no guidance.  Regardless of her lack of her care and guidance she is a sweet, friendly young girl.  She enjoys the company of and playing with other dogs and she is good with children.  Of course she will require formal training, it not only teaches her how to be a well behaved and balanced girl, but it also helps with creating a bond with her new family.  Please be sure you have the time and patience to commit to Bristol for the rest of her life.

Updates:

Unfortunately Piper was returned to us after almost 5 months after showing too much interest in the resident cats. Piper is understandably confused why her family gave her up. Her foster reports that she doesn't appear to have had much training. Piper is now in a foster home where she'll wait for the right family and learn what she can learn during that time, along with playing with the resident dog. If you can commit to Piper for her lifetime, please ask to meet her.

Hi.  My new name is Piper – I have had a few names in my short life but this one has stuck.  I answer really well to my new name.

As you can see I am back with the great people of MASGR.  My foster mom says I am all the best things found in a puppy and GSD.  BUT, if those are not what you are looking for, I am not the best fit for you. I am super smart, cute and loyal.  Also I am a puppy and I have a lot of energy and love to play …. all day.  Remember I am a working bread and need to have exercise and mental stimulation to keep me, and you ultimately, happy and healthy.  Please be committed to meeting my activity and mental stimulation needs.  My foster mom says I would be best with a furry brother or sister who I can play with and in an active family. I love kids! But obviously I am a pretty big dog and a puppy – so would be best with children comfortable with big dogs.  I love all people, dogs, toys and belly rubs! Overall, I am a naturally very well behaved dog. Though I do need some additional training - have started learning basic commands, but am not yet consistent. I do need additional training for walking on a lead. I am great about being house trained – but since I play a lot and drink a lot - thus need to get out to do my business. I am an amazing dog and have had a lot of change in my short life – but there are no obvious negative impacts – I have taken it all in stride.  But I deserve a wonderful forever family – one where we are both together a great fit - me for you, and you for me.  If you think you are that family – ask to meet me.  It’ll be hard for you to not fall in love…..

Gender: Male

Current Size: 73 lbs.
Housebroken: Yes
Obedience Trained: Partially
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Unknown
Good With Cats: Unknown
Other Dogs OK: Yes
DESCRIPTION:

Chauncey has been let down by people 3 times in his short life, he is now looking for his forever family that will commit to him for his for lifetime.

He was first in a shelter at 4 weeks old, adopted at 8 weeks old as a cute adorable puppy only to be returned at 7 months old.  He was too much to handle and no time was spent on training.  He was then adopted again and returned as his family was moving and they were not willing to find a place that allowed dogs.  Chauncey didn't deserve to be treated this way, he is not disposable.  He is 73 lbs but could stand to lose 5 lbs or so.  Nothing that daily exercise, walks and a little less food won't help.  He enjoys the outdoors, playing, going for walks and exploring his surroundings.  Please, when considering adding a dog to your family that you are able to commit to them for their lifetime.  They should be treated as a loving family member.

Updates:

Chauncey is crate trained, housebroken, sits and lays down when told, and is easy to walk on a leash. Chauncey loves attention and follows his humans around the house every time they move and is always excited to see them. Chauncey loves playing with his toys, brings them back to his handler and waits for them to be thrown again. Chauncey is a very sweet boy who just wants to love and be loved. He definitely needs a fur-ever home. Ask to meet him today.

Hello, my name is Chauncey.  Since I've been with my humans for several weeks, I have learned their routine so I do what I'm supposed to before they tell me.  When it's time to go up to my cage, I'm going up the stairs before they know it. When it's time to go to bed I go up the steps with my humans standing guard because the house dog likes to pick on me.  I start off at one side of the bed, away from the house dog, then in the middle of the night when the house dog is asleep I sneak over and jump up on the bed and lay next to my human companion.  When it's time to go out I love walking my human companions around the block.  At meal time I run over to where I get fed and wait for them to come feed me.  I sit waiting for them to put the bowl down, drooling.  When they tell me it's okay to eat, I chomp out!  I also try to fool them and run over there like it's dinner time on the chance they'll feed me again.  I like going to the park where I can meet other people and see other dogs that I would like to play with. I like other dog buddies.  I like playing with my toys in the house. I really like my rubber bottle and bring it to my humans so they can throw it for me to retrieve. I love jumping my front paws on their lap so they give me attention, and I love all the attention they give me. I love my female human - when she comes home I wag my tail , follow her around and jump up on her with smiles, going a little crazy. I'm looking for a fur-ever home.

My human friend keeps taking me to a store where I get to meet adults and kids.  The adults come up and pet me, and the kids come up and pet me, and sometimes I lay down and roll over so they can rub my belly.  I really enjoy that, but it wears me out, so I sleep in the car on the way home, then I'm ready to go again. The other day we went to the park.  There was a teen age girl and a grandmother I met, and a four year old girl that wanted to pet me rather than the other dog.  She kept giving me small sticks to play with, and was having a good time.  Then she came up and gave me a big hug around the neck and I really enjoyed that!  I really like playing with kids.

Obedience Trained: Yes
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Older Kids Only
Good With Cats: No
Other Dogs OK: Yes, big dogs only
DESCRIPTION:

Ozzie's former person took ill and was no longer able to care for  him.  He was brought to the VA area by a family member and is now in our care looking for his forever family.  Ozzie is a very big boy at 94 lbs  He has undergone formal training but will require further training with his new family.  He has not lived with dogs before but did well meeting another German Shepherd during our evaluation.  Ozzie does have the tendency to herd (nip at) children, for this reason we feel it is best that he not be placed in a home with young children.  A boy of this size can be intimating to small children and he could also accidentally knock them down.  For the most past Ozzie's former person exercised Ozzie on daily 2 mile walks and lots of games of fetch.  Daily exercise is key to  keep energy in check, so please be sure you have the time to commit to his exercise needs, training and of course a lifetime of love and care.

Shrek

Gender: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Approximate Age: 6 years 8 months
Color: white
Current Size: 32 lbs
Housebroken: Unknown
Obedience Trained: No
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Yes
Good With Cats: Unknown
Other Dogs OK: Yes
DESCRIPTION:

Sweet Shrek was surrendered to us as his former person had no time for him.  He was being left in a junk filled backyard.  Shrek has a partially missing ear which we were told his mother bit off.  It seems that he also has some damage to the tip of his other ear.  This in no way takes away from how adorable him, it gives him his own unique look.  He is in a foster home enjoying his time living indoors, having a large clean yard to romp around in with the resident dogs.  His foster family has started working with him on training and he is learning quickly.  It is important that his new family continues with training and keeping him socialized with other people and dogs.  This time in his life is critical for this as it provides a great foundation for him to be a well balanced adult.

Approximate Age: 8 years 5 months

Good With Kids: Unknown
Good With Cats: Unknown
Other Dogs OK: Yes
DESCRIPTION:

Jack came to us with no prior history, so we are getting to know him.  He can be a little unsure of new things and people which results him hiding.  But once comfortable with his person he becomes a 75 lb. lap dog.  He will flourish with training and guidance, this will help him build a bond with his family and relax so that he can enjoy the world around him.  He does have a lot of strength and no leash manners, this is something that needs to be worked on.  If you are looking for a handsome boy and don't mind a large lap dog to cuddle with then Jack is your boy

Updates:

Jack has been settling nicely into his foster home. Although it takes him a few minutes to get comfortable with new people, once adjusted, Jack is a happy-go-lucky guy. Jack thrives with stability and leadership. This intelligent guy has quickly been developing some basic skills. At this time he is learning sit, down, paw, crate, out and heel. With the correct gear, consistency, and some high-value treats, Jack is more than happy to try new things.

Although Jack is learning a lot, he also understands that sometimes you need to take a break and simply enjoy life. Jack loves toys. He will play fetch and happily bound around after a ball or a plush toy. However, if you need to take a break, Jack is very capable of entertaining himself. He tends to end up upside down with a goofy smile across his face. As a typical shepherd, Jack likes to be with his people. He makes an excellent shadow and takes every opportunity to cuddle. Sometimes it seems that he really does think he's a 10lb puppy rather than a 75lb dog.

If you are ready for new adventures, a lot of smiles, and a big companion, Jack is your guy. Please ask to meet him today.

Good With Kids: Older kids, over 16
Good With Cats: Yes, but will chase
Other Dogs OK: Yes, big dogs only
DESCRIPTION:

Reuger is a young, handsome boy who has been through basic obedience training.  It is imperative that he continues training with his new family.  Reuger is not good with small dogs and will not be placed in a home with small dogs.  In his previous home he had escaped the home through an opened door and an electric fence going after small dogs in the neighborhood.  He did live with a cat, getting along fine as long as the cat did not run around.  He also lived with a female GSD and was fine with her.  Reuger does play rough with other dogs, so another dog in the home must be playful and accepting of rough housing.  Reuger also has the tendency to get mouthy with people when he is overly excited.  Training, structure and direction can help with these behaviors.  Reuger will do best with experienced GSD people, who have the time and knowledge to work with him.

Gender: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Dog

Color: Black & Tan
Current Size: 66 lbs
Housebroken: Yes
Obedience Trained: No

Good With Kids: Older kids, over 16
Good With Cats: Unknown

DESCRIPTION:

Murphy made his way to us from a shelter where he was a stray.  We have no past history for him, so we are getting to know him.  He requires a slower approach when meeting new people.   He is in need of training which will help him learn good manners, build his confidence and bond with his new family.

Updates:

Murphy is an interesting high energy pup. He’s likely had very little structure in his life to this point and is in need of a strong willed person or family to help guide his future and provide consistent and strong structure, especially with his indoor manners. He’s easy to leash up and walk, both on long and short leash. He’s loves car rides but seems unfamiliar with exiting or entering the car. He is unfamiliar with stairs but is learning to handle them quickly. He has a very high ball drive and will bring the ball back to his human as long as the ball is thrown again. Murphy loves his humans of all ages and wants to be with them always. He needs some work on his manners and is prone to countertop surfing. He also needs help learning that his crate is a safe place to stay. He takes treats gently and is very treat motivated. He is happy to work with anyone willing to give him a chance, could that be you?

Murphy is a sweet boy who takes time to get to know you.  Once he decides you're his friend, you are allowed the honor of bestowing belly rubs!  And then come the kisses!  He's great on leash, sitting at stops while in heel, knows basic obedience and follows his handler. He's VERY food driven, which is a very handy training tool.  He is going to need someone who can commit to the exercise and training he needs to keep his mind and body healthy.  He's such a handsome boy, do you think you have room for Murphy in your heart and home?

DESCRIPTION:

Olaf is an affectionate boy, he enjoys time with his family.  He is housebroken and crate trained.  He was in a foster home previously living with other dogs, cats and children, he did fine with all.  In his adoptive home he lived with another dog and for reasons unknown he would bark at her incessantly at times.  He would go to a dog park, but would want to herd the other dogs, along with barking at them.  For this reason Olaf would not be a dog that should go to a dog park.  Olaf has had basic obedience training, but further training is needed.  Olaf has energy to burn, so a backyard for him to run and play would help his energy.  Walks, runs and working on his training will help him both physically and mentally burn energy.

Good With Kids: Older kids, over 10

DESCRIPTION:

Jagger was not well cared for in his previous home, he also was not well socialized or provided with any training.  Jagger will need a adopter that has experience with the breed and has the time and energy to devote to his training.  He takes sometime to warm up to new people, so a slow approach is best with this big boy.  High value treats are a great way to his heart.  Guidance from his new family, ongoing socialization and a good training program will help young Jagger become a well rounded boy.

Updates:

Now that Jagger is in a foster home, his true personality is shinning through. Jagger is a very affectionate boy and will shower his human with doggies kisses every opportunity he gets. He frequently underestimates his size and will try and climb into your lap to be pet. Jagger is a big boy and will jump on you/ into you and can be mouthy when excited, which he is working on with his foster mom so best to go to a home without small children. His leash manners have improved in a short time and he heels nicely next to his handler with pinch/prong collar on and he is starting to learn some basic obedience.  Jagger rides beautifully in the car, taking in all the sights and sounds.  He is not as scared of new people now that he is away from the stress of the kennel environment, but he can still sometimes be weary of strangers and will bark at them. He is a very picky eater and so far have discovered a handful of treats/food he will eat, one of them being canadian bacon. He knows how to play fetch as you can see in his video on his profile and enjoys playing with toys. He has also conquered his fear of the vacuum and instead will focus on playing with his toy while it is on. When Jagger gets too hot, he will remove the top layer of gravel at the dog park and lay beneath a picnic bench. Jagger wants nothing more then to be with his people and will not leave their side. Jagger is the epitome of a GSD; smart, strong, loyal and as such will need someone with GSD experience who will lead him and teach him. If Jagger sounds like the dog for you please ask to meet him, he's waiting for you.

Good With Kids: Yes, older kids

DESCRIPTION:

Lolly was dumped at a shelter extremely emaciated. Doing some research her original owner was found. Lolly was given away in Dec and ended up in a shelter in March. She has gained some weight but still needs more. She is such a sweet and loving girl. Lolly has EPI, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. This is caused when the pancreas does not produce enough enzymes to properly digest food. This is very easily treated by adding enzymes to each meal which helps the body digest food. More information can be found at epi4dogs.com along with before and after pictures of dogs that have EPI.

Lolly is now receiving the enzymes she needs and is gaining weight. Please do not let EPI deter you from considering Lolly, she deserves a family to love and care for her and in return she will give you her devotion.

Updates:

Lolly is quickly adapting to life in her foster home.  She crates nicely and is only noisy when she needs to go out to do her business and has proven to be housebroken so far.  She likes to play fetch, has good ball drive, and tug  - she's learning the "out or drop it" command so it’s best to have two balls.  Lolly gets along well with the resident large dog. She gets very aroused when she knows her food is being prepared with the enzymes and she does better separated from any other dogs during feeding time. Lolly has been friendly to all humans she has met and enjoys affection - especially the butt rub.  She seemed appreciative of the bathing process especially all the massaging and rubbing.  Lolly knows some basic commands and doesn’t pull to much on the leash.  Lolly is very smart and she will take advantage of her human without consistency, so she’ll need someone who can teach her the rules.  If you’re looking for a young dog with medium energy - ask to see beautiful Lolly!

More about the lovely Lolly - she loves water and will get the zoomies after swimming; she loves to play fetch and doesn’t want to stop; she knows sit, down, heel, kennel up and is learning place. Lolly doesn't reacted to other dogs, even reactive ones. Lolly whines when she needs to go out, is excited or wants attention.  She likes to be with people and she enjoys being brushed.  Lolly rides quietly in the car, crated or not crated. Lolly barks to alert only with good reason. Lolly loves to chew nylabones; was very good at the vets; and is overall a well mannered, balanced dog.  Lolly has so much to give - ask to see her today!

DESCRIPTION:

Dietra came to us as an owner surrender.  She was much loved by her previous family which included young children and a male GSD.  Dietra is a very sweet girl who is in need of a family of very own.  Dietra did arrive in our care not putting weight on her rear leg, we had her seen by our vet who recommended she be seen by a orthopedic specialist.  Dietra has an appointment scheduled for this coming week to see the specialist in order to find out, if anything, is wrong with her leg.  Once we know we will post an update.

Updates:

Dietra has been seen by an Orthopedic Specialist.  Dietra has a bone infection which is being treated.   It was also discovered that Dietra has a torn ACL, once the infection has cleared up she will have TPLO surgery to repair the tear.

MAGSR is committed to Dietra's treatment and surgery.  This is a costly endeavor, but Dietra is so worth it.  Donations towards her surgery are greatly needed and very much appreciated, no amount is too small.  Please help us help Dietra and the many other dogs that rely on us to keep them healthy and safe.

DESCRIPTION:

King made his way to us after he was confiscated by Animal Control for running at large and lack of proper care.  He is approximately 4 years old.  He is a little shy upon first meeting new people, but he quickly warms up and leans in to be petted.  He seems to be a very nice boy that just needs stability, love and care.

Updates:

Once in our care, our volunteers noticed King may have some difficulty seeing everything that is happening around him, so MAGSR had King seen by an eye specialist who diagnosed King with Progressive Retinal Atrophy in both eyes. The doctor feels it could be congenital or event related onset. King is totally blind in his right eye and has partial sight in his left eye. At the vet's recommendation, MAGSR is starting King on a dietary supplement, Ocuvite, which is inexpensive and can be purchased online easily. Going forward, King will need to be seen once a year by an eye specialist. King's foster mom reports he was an amazing patient and through all the tests, he was gentle and cooperative - he even gave the vet a kiss when they were done. King's personality outshines everything else. King is wonderful in the home and quickly gets out of the resident cat's way. On his walks, King is friendly to everyone he meets - adults, kids and other dogs. He rides well in the car, is housebroken, and does well on a leash. He's not fond of the crate, but he does wonderful when free in the house. King can get easily spooked but that may have to do with his limited sight - when he gets scared, he just backups and doesn't bark or growl. He is learning about the steps and that they aren't a bad thing. King loves his food and treats and will sit nicely for them. King is a wonderful guy and anyone who meets him won't focus on his limited sight, but rather what a great dog and companion he is.

Obedience Trained: Basic Commands

Good With Kids: Older kids, over 12
Good With Cats: No
Other Dogs OK: Some, with proper introduction
DESCRIPTION:

Bo came to us from a shelter, so we have no history on him.  He can be picky about his dog friends and may do best as an only dog or with female dogs.  Training of course will go a long way helping Bo settle in, learn some manners and how to properly interact with other dogs.  With people he is very friendly, although we do not know how he is with children at this time.

Updates:

Bo is great dog, and he's doing nicely in foster.  His weight is up to 84lbs from 69lbs a month ago, and he loves to run and is building muscle - he is really looking good.  He has been going to training for a few weeks and is doing very well the class, both with his basic commands and in terms of his confidence and socialization.  He does fine in his crate (although he will start to make a racket sometimes if he feels he's missing out on something!), is house broken, and has acclimated well, and is happy and comfortable with his two older GSD foster siblings.  Bo still has a lot to learn, but overall he's a very sweet and responsive dog, that is progressing well and will make a great addition to the right lucky home, that is ready to provide the care and love that Bo so richly deserves.

Handsome a sweet Bo was returned to MAGSR thru no fault of his own after his family decided they no longer wanted him. Bo’s prior family never truly committed to him and he spent most of his time in a crate. Bo is an active and friendly boy who needs exercise and continued training, as do most German Shepherds. Bo is ready for a forever family who will truly commit to him, spend time with him and not lock him in a crate and not give him up when he becomes an inconvenience. If interested in meeting this handsome boy, ask to meet Bo today!

Windsor is a good foster pup. He gets along well with everyone, four-legged (dogs only so far) and otherwise. Windsor is working on his doorway manners and he's learning sit/stay in his foster home.  Windsor is a pacer out in the yard and has some energy to burn. Windsor is slowly learning to play, when he wants to.  Windsor accepts the crate, although he's not always happy about going into it, but he's quiet and relaxed when in there. DESCRIPTION:

Sadly Daina's family turned her into a shelter as she was experiencing digestive issues and weight loss.  Such a friendly, loving and sweet girl, she did not deserve to be abandoned especially in her time of need.   Now that Daina is with us she is receiving the care she needs and deserves.  She has been seen by our vet and is undergoing testing to determine why she is so emaciated.  She is receiving high quality nutrition and supplements and extra meals.  Daina deserves to know the love of a real family, one that will care for her no matter what.  Please consider Daina when looking for  your next BFF.

Updates:

Daina's test results revealed that she  has EPI, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.  This is caused when the pancreas does not produce enough enzymes to properly digest food.  This is very easily treated by adding enzymes to each meal which helps the body digest food.  More information can be found at epi4dogs.com along with before and after pictures of dogs that have EPI.

Daina is now receiving the enzymes she needs and will begin to gain weight.  Please do not let EPI deter you from considering Daina, she deserves a family to love and care for her and in return she will give you her devotion.

Daina is doing so very well in her foster home and is definitely stronger and putting on weight now that she has the enzymes she needs for her food. Daina is a smart, playful, active, curious and fun girl. Her playful personality is really emerging now that she feels better. Daina loves to play tug and will also retrieve a ball thrown for her and will sit immediately when waiting for it to be thrown again.  She is friendly but alert and will alert her foster mom when she hears unexpected noises, but Daina is a pretty quiet dog in general. Daina is very well behaved and housebroken. She is learning obedience commands and leash manners and takes easy corrections well - some training will help quickly teach her the skills she needs to be a good canine citizen. Daina is just a wonderful, sweet, playful young girl waiting to make some family very happy!

Hi - I’m Daina! I’m a little over 1 year old, past the puppy days but so full of fun!  I sit, walk well on a leash, play with other dogs and kids very nicely, love my crate, and am a really happy dog.  I do have one easily managed issue: I need to have enzymes sprinkled on all my food 20 minutes before I eat, to help me digest it and stay healthy.  It’s called EPI, or exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, (which you can look up online very easily), but other than that, I’m a normal, happy, fun young girl looking for my forever home.  I’ve met other dogs, horses, and kids here on my foster’s farm, and I’m friendly but alert. I don’t bark much at all, unless I hear something that just doesn’t sound right - then I’ll let you know. I like to play ball and tug, and go for walks anywhere you want to take me!  Please consider me when you are looking for a dog you can love forever - I’m kind of a sweetheart!

Onyx was adopted from us as 9 month old puppy.  She had lived with her adoptive family for just over 4 years.  Onyx had a run in with the neighbors small dogs so her adopters decided to return her.  Knowing that Onyx would be housed at the kennel, as we have no available foster homes without dogs, they still decided that was the best place for her.  I can't imagine that Onyx thinks being a kennel away from her family is the best place for her.  At this time we do not know if Onyx is good with larger dogs as she has just been returned to us.  We are giving her time to adjust to losing her family and her home, once we feel she has settled in we will do proper dog introductions.  Onyx is very sweet with people, although a little cautious at first meeting them.  She lived with children in her prior home.  Onyx doesn't deserve what her family did to her, with proper containment, making sure she is not able to escape open doors and with training things could have been worked out.

Updates:

The past six months with Solomon have been an absolute blessing. Him and our female German Shepherd could not be a better match and are always together. Where one is, you will see the other. Solomon completed his beginner class through Dauntless and is currently half way through intermediate. He absolutely loves playing fetch, taking naps, chasing his sister female shepherd through the house, and laying with his person. He walks right in his crate and when we are in our room will just hang out in there.

Solomon is absolutely in love with our god children. When they come over he loves playing the game Tag with them. He is very gentle with them and will lay with them or run with them throughout the house.

He has been the perfect addition to the family. I am getting emotional typing this as I am thinking to myself “who really saved who?”

If you are looking for a fun, a loving puppy like Allie is for you.

Mally is settling in to her foster home.  She is housetrained and very responsive to "No" verbal commands.  Mally is young, so she does good exercising with her foster.  Mally is excellent with her human and warms up to other dogs and strangers - she likes to take things at her own pace and be introduced slowly so she's comfortable.  Mally may do better in a lower key and less chaotic home and is very excited as she waits for her furever family.  Could that family be yours?

DESCRIPTION:

Merlin was surrendered as he kept escaping the yard with a 4 foot fence, suggested ways of keeping him contained were not implemented.  He had been with his family for 5 years and deserved more than to be given away.  As Merlin is new to us we are just getting to know him.  He lived with another dog in his prior home.  Right now he is confused and somewhat anxious with the changes in his life.  He does require training to help him with good canine manners and to learn what is expected of him.  Training is a great way to start the bonding process with a new family.
