Essie
ADOPTED 05/30/2018!
Good With Kids: Unknown

Essie along with Annie were turned into a shelter after their human mom took ill and could no longer care for them. They were much loved and well cared for. They have lived their entires lives together so we are hoping a very special family will find room in their hearts and homes for them both. Essie is more outgoing than Annie, she loves attention from her family. Don't let their age fool you, these girls have spunk, enjoying walks and playtime.
Updates:Essie is settling in nicely in her foster home. Essie is crate trained, knows sit & “paw” and walk well on a leash – easy to walk together. Essie responds very well to verbal commands. Essie even knows “lay” when there’s a treat involved as a reward. Both Essie & Annie are very calm and not high energy. Essie is the outgoing of the two girls. Both girls love to take rides in the car. Essie is super cuddly.
Ramsay
ADOPTED 05/27/2018!
Good With Kids: Yes
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Ramsay made his way to our care from shelter, where he ended up as a stray. Ramsay is a handsome, approximate 2 year old male GSD mix. He takes a brief moment to warm up to new people, but once he does he quickly becomes your best friend. He likes to lean into his person, enjoys being petted and being with his family. He is a strong boy and pulls quite a bit when being walked, training will help this along with helping him learn good canine manners.
Olaf
ADOPTED 05/26/2018!
Good With Kids: Yes
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Olaf is an affectionate boy, he enjoys time with his family. He is housebroken and crate trained. He was in a foster home previously living with other dogs, cats and children, he did fine with all. In his adoptive home he lived with another dog and for reasons unknown he would bark at her incessantly at times. He would go to a dog park, but would want to herd the other dogs, along with barking at them. For this reason Olaf would not be a dog that should go to a dog park. Olaf has had basic obedience training, but further training is needed. Olaf has energy to burn, so a backyard for him to run and play would help his energy. Walks, runs and working on his training will help him both physically and mentally burn energy.
Baylor

Baylor is a sweet, well mannered boy. He is a good size to handle and snuggle with. He's a little shaken up by the recent changes in his life, but he is settling in. Baylor would love to have a family of his very own, the comforts of a soft bed, the love and care a forever family.
Jagger
ADOPTED 05/24/2018!
Good With Kids: Older kids, over 10
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Jagger was not well cared for in his previous home, he also was not well socialized or provided with any training. Jagger will need a adopter that has experience with the breed and has the time and energy to devote to his training. He takes sometime to warm up to new people, so a slow approach is best with this big boy. High value treats are a great way to his heart. Guidance from his new family, ongoing socialization and a good training program will help young Jagger become a well rounded boy.
Updates:Now that Jagger is in a foster home, his true personality is shinning through. Jagger is a very affectionate boy and will shower his human with doggies kisses every opportunity he gets. He frequently underestimates his size and will try and climb into your lap to be pet. Jagger is a big boy and will jump on you/ into you and can be mouthy when excited, which he is working on with his foster mom so best to go to a home without small children. His leash manners have improved in a short time and he heels nicely next to his handler with pinch/prong collar on and he is starting to learn some basic obedience. Jagger rides beautifully in the car, taking in all the sights and sounds. He is not as scared of new people now that he is away from the stress of the kennel environment, but he can still sometimes be weary of strangers and will bark at them. He is a very picky eater and so far have discovered a handful of treats/food he will eat, one of them being canadian bacon. He knows how to play fetch as you can see in his video on his profile and enjoys playing with toys. He has also conquered his fear of the vacuum and instead will focus on playing with his toy while it is on. When Jagger gets too hot, he will remove the top layer of gravel at the dog park and lay beneath a picnic bench. Jagger wants nothing more then to be with his people and will not leave their side. Jagger is the epitome of a GSD; smart, strong, loyal and as such will need someone with GSD experience who will lead him and teach him. If Jagger sounds like the dog for you please ask to meet him, he's waiting for you.
