DESCRIPTION:

Solomon came to us as an owner surrender.  Unfortunately his former family have their hands very full with medical needs, this left Solomon home alone for too long.  He was very much loved and well cared for.  He is now looking for a new family, one that will love and care for him as much as his last family has.  Solomon is a stunning, large, all black male with the shiniest coat.  In his previous home he lived with young children and another male GSD.  He does need some basic obedience training, not only will this help him learn good manners, but it will also help to create a bond with his new family.

Updates:

The past six months with Solomon have been an absolute blessing. Him and our female German Shepherd could not be a better match and are always together. Where one is, you will see the other. Solomon completed his beginner class through Dauntless and is currently half way through intermediate. He absolutely loves playing fetch, taking naps, chasing his sister female shepherd through the house, and laying with his person. He walks right in his crate and when we are in our room will just hang out in there.

Solomon is absolutely in love with our god children. When they come over he loves playing the game Tag with them. He is very gentle with them and will lay with them or run with them throughout the house.

He has been the perfect addition to the family. I am getting emotional typing this as I am thinking to myself “who really saved who?”

All the best-

Kate and Tyler Coburn

Good With Kids: Yes

DESCRIPTION:

Allie and her sister Aria came to us from a shelter where they had been surrendered.  We are told that mom is a purebred GSD and dad is purebred Lab.  At 16 weeks old both girls have a whole lot to learn.  It is never too soon to start basic obedience training, as socialization with other dogs and people is very important, along with learning good puppy manners.  Puppies will chew things, have accidents, get into things and have lots of energy, so please be sure you have the time and patience it takes to raise a puppy.

Updates:

Allie is doing great in her foster home. She is definitely a puppy. Allie loves the resident children and follows them around. When she gets excited, she will jump but she is easily corrected. Allie is working on housebreaking and has been getting the idea about going outside. She enjoys chewing her bone and doesn't mind her crate. If you are looking for a fun, a loving puppy like Allie is for you.

Allie has settled right in to her foster home. She is a playful puppy that is always looking for praise. For Allie praise is better than a treat. Praise is working really well on her house breaking and she rarely has an accident in the house. Allie loves to play with the resident dogs and curl up to snuggle with the resident children. If you want a puppy to raise to be your very own Allie is your girl!

DESCRIPTION:

Sapphire made her way to us from a shelter where she had been surrendered by her former owners.  They had told the shelter that she was good with children, dogs and cats.  She is in a foster living with young children and another GSD and getting along well.  We have not had her around cats.  She is a young, energetic girl that has had no training or guidance.  She's very trainable, she pays attention to her handler and is responsive to both food and praise.   A good training program, guidance from her family and exercise to burn off some that puppy energy are in order for beautiful Sapphire.

Missy was found tied to a tree, no one ever came for her.  The person that found her took very good care of her and was hoping to make her part of their family.  Unfortunately Missy and the resident small dog were not compatible.  Wanting Missy to have the best chance at finding a good family she was surrendered to us.  She is young, energetic and has a lot to learn.  Training of course will help Missy learn what is expected of her, good canine manners and build a bond with her new family.
