Romeo
ADOPTED 02/17/2018!
Good With Kids: Yes

Romeo ended up in a shelter with Juliet, we are not sure if they are related but it does seem as though they have lived their lives together as they are bonded. Romeo and Juliet play nicely together and seem to enjoy each others company.
Updates:Both Romeo & Juliet are putting on weight nicely and they love doggie snacks. Both are learning manners at meal time, to sit while the food is being placed and to not to eat out of each others bowls when they are done. Romeo & Juliet are housebroken and crate trained and have great manners in the home. They enjoy quiet times and taking naps and they do not bother each other when they go into their open crates to rest. Romeo and Juliet want to please their human so much and respond quickly to voice commands and praise. They know basic commands; sit, stay, no, come, good boy/girl. Playing together is especially fun for them and for their foster humans to watch - they love to romp and roll each other, both are extremely playful with a good energy level. They both are extremely loving and need their snuggle/tummy rub time. When they are tired they just want to lay at your feet and nap. If this sounds like the right bonded pair for you, please ask to meet them today.

Piper
ADOPTED 02/17/2018!
Good With Kids: Yes

Bristol was not well cared for by her previous person. She often went without being fed, allowed to run at large putting her in danger of being hit by cars. She has had no training and no guidance. Regardless of her lack of her care and guidance she is a sweet, friendly young girl. She enjoys the company of and playing with other dogs and she is good with children. Of course she will require formal training, it not only teaches her how to be a well behaved and balanced girl, but it also helps with creating a bond with her new family. Please be sure you have the time and patience to commit to Bristol for the rest of her life.
Updates:Unfortunately Piper was returned to us after almost 5 months after showing too much interest in the resident cats. Piper is understandably confused why her family gave her up. Her foster reports that she doesn't appear to have had much training. Piper is now in a foster home where she'll wait for the right family and learn what she can learn during that time, along with playing with the resident dog. If you can commit to Piper for her lifetime, please ask to meet her.
Hi. My new name is Piper – I have had a few names in my short life but this one has stuck. I answer really well to my new name.
As you can see I am back with the great people of MASGR. My foster mom says I am all the best things found in a puppy and GSD. BUT, if those are not what you are looking for, I am not the best fit for you. I am super smart, cute and loyal. Also I am a puppy and I have a lot of energy and love to play …. all day. Remember I am a working bread and need to have exercise and mental stimulation to keep me, and you ultimately, happy and healthy. Please be committed to meeting my activity and mental stimulation needs. My foster mom says I would be best with a furry brother or sister who I can play with and in an active family. I love kids! But obviously I am a pretty big dog and a puppy – so would be best with children comfortable with big dogs. I love all people, dogs, toys and belly rubs! Overall, I am a naturally very well behaved dog. Though I do need some additional training - have started learning basic commands, but am not yet consistent. I do need additional training for walking on a lead. I am great about being house trained – but since I play a lot and drink a lot - thus need to get out to do my business. I am an amazing dog and have had a lot of change in my short life – but there are no obvious negative impacts – I have taken it all in stride. But I deserve a wonderful forever family – one where we are both together a great fit - me for you, and you for me. If you think you are that family – ask to meet me. It’ll be hard for you to not fall in love…..
Karmela
ADOPTED 02/14/2018!
Good With Kids: Yes

Karmela did have a home and family of her own until one day they dumped her a shelter. We know that in her previous home she lived with children and other dogs. She is a calm, well mannered girl who would enjoy spending time with her family. Karmela had an ear infection that was left untreated which caused her ear to crumple, she is currently under the care of our vet. If you are looking for a dog that is more grounded and past the juvenile antics Karmela is your girl.
Updates:Karmela is settling in to her foster home just great! She made herself right at home with her foster family and the resident dog. Karmela went to the vet for a check up and to have her ears checked. Both ears had infections so they cleaned them out really good and sent her home with medications to help get them all better. Karmela is extremely sweet and a great listener. She knows some basic commands like “sit” and “come” and we are working very hard on other commands as well. She walks very nicely on a leash and loves to play fetch. She is crate trained, house broken and loves kids. Ask to meet Karmela today!
I’m doing great at my fosters house. They’re teaching me how to be a good dog for my new family. I have learned sit, come, down and I’m working on stay. I love going on walks with them and their dog. I absolutely love kids! I love them more the adults and would love a family with kids. I love playing with tennis balls and I’m really good at playing fetch. I also love to just chill with you on the couch and cuddle. Ask to meet me today!
Karmela went back to the vet this week for a followup on her ears and they are doing great! She is doing great with learning her basics commands. She loves to play fetch and to just chill on the couch or floor. She is amazing with kids and good with other dogs. She is very sweet and gentle. Ask to meet this sweet girl today!
Cider

Cider was surrendered to us as his former person had allergies. His family reports that he is good with other dogs, children and cats. He is currently in a foster home living with other dogs and children, the foster does not have cats. He is a friendly boy and seems to have adjusted to his move quite well.
