Sebastian
ADOPTED 10/01/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes

Sebastian found himself in a shelter hoping someone would give him the chance at a second life. He was heartworm positive but has undergone treatment. He is somewhat unsettled with all of the changes in his life, but with time he will settle in.
Updates:Sebastian warms up to people quickly, he follows you wherever you go, and lays down near you, and craves attention all the time. He does have separation issues, needs a secure crate until he gets over his separation issues. He is housebroken, does know basic commands but needs more training. He seems good around kids. He does interact well with other dogs. At night time, if you're around, he does go into his crate and stays there all night with no issues.
Sebastian has settled in nicely to the household routine. He is a sweet, easy-going, well-behaved dog. He enjoys a game of fetch as well as just chilling out close to his favorite human. He welcomes attention and cuddles, and does not like getting left behind. He knows basic commands but could use some reinforcement. He walks well on a leash, will pull when excited but correct easily. He is anxious to make friends with every dog and human he meets. He will make a great companion for someone who has the time to give him.
Rainee
ADOPTED 10/01/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown

Rainee made her way to us after finding herself in a shelter, we have no idea why this beautiful girl ended up there. She just arrived in our care so we still are getting to know her. She has been friendly with the people she has met and seems to want to please. Of course she will need to go to training with her new family so that she can be a well behaved family member.
Updates:Rainee is a delightful young dog. She’s quite the “head turner,” so very beautiful and very good natured. At about 2 years old she still has an abundance of “puppy” energy, and like all young dogs can be a bit rambunctious, easily distracted, and cautious in new situations that confuse her, but she is very responsive and learns quickly. She is working on her basic commands (although “down” can still often slip into “rub my belly”!), crates beautifully, has not had any accidents in the house, and has been getting along nicely with the other dogs in the structured environment in her foster home. Miss Rainee is a real gem – a “diamond in the rough” that is waiting for her family to find her and give her the care, training, and love she needs to reach her full potential. Please ask to meet Rainee if that might be you!
Guinness
ADOPTED 09/30/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes, older kids
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Guinness had a rough start in life. He lived with 7 Children that were allowed to torment, tease and hit him. The adults punished him with a shock collar at full strength, hit him in the face, sprayed water at him, put him in a crate that was much too small for him or chained outside. Guinness is with a caring foster who is working with him as he learns to trust humans, especially when it comes to his food and toys. He is loving and friendly but does require positive training and interaction. He enjoys playing and going for walks which of course helps burn off some of that puppy energy.
Updates:Guinness is doing quite well at his foster home. Foster doesn't have any issues with food aggression and does just fine in the right size crate. Does well in car and walks well on leash. He loves playing with other dogs and plays well with toys and bones. Still can be hesitant if approached too quickly, but no aggression. Does well around other people as long as they approach gently. He is great with older kids unknown for young children. Still learning to trust people again.
Tesla
ADOPTED 09/30/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown

Tesla came to us from a shelter so we have no history on him. He is a young 1 1/2 year old handsome boy who is looking for his forever family and home. He needs some work on his manners and obedience training, but he's a smart boy so he should pick things up quickly. Structure and guidance from his new family, along with lots of exercise will of course be required.
Gypsy
ADOPTED 09/30/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes

Beautiful Gypsy has arrived and is looking for a family who will properly care for her. She was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter, her family was notified but when they found out she was heartworm positive they no longer wanted her. We will be sure that she receives treatment for heartworm. Had she been kept on monthly heartworm prevention this would have been avoided. Gypsy seems to be a well mannered girl with a nice energy level. This beautiful girl is looking for a family who will properly care for and provide for her the rest of her life.
Updates:Gypsy is quite the lady of the house! She’s obviously spent time indoors and understands that toilets are for drinking water until she knows where the water bowl is, couches are soft spots to lie on unless you don’t allow that, and very important - she’s knows to go potty outside. She doesn’t pull much on the leash and she’s had some training as she knows sit, paw and down. Like most self respecting pups, she would like to chase those pesky squirrels but we’re limiting her physical activity so we can treat her heart worm. Luckily they come to entertain her on the deck. She is pretty calm and laid back for a three year old. She takes treats gently and isn’t food aggressive with the resident senior pup. If you’re looking for love, this beauty is for you. She’s looking for her forever person - could it be you?
