GunnerGunnerGunnerGunner
Gender: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Approximate Age: 11 years 8 months
Color: Black & Tan
Current Size: 82 lbs
Ideal/Potential Size: 80 lbs
Housebroken: Yes
Obedience Trained: Partially
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Yes
Good With Cats: No

DESCRIPTION:

Gunner was surrendered to MAGSR, as his family could no longer care for him.  Gunner has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), for which he is stable on diet and medication.  EPI can be very well controlled with proper nutrition and adding enzymes to his food which helps with digestion. More information can be found at this link: http://www.epi4dogs.com along with before and after pictures of dogs that have EPI.

Gunner was cared for and loved by his family, so he is understandably confused by his current situation. Gunner is in the comforts of a foster home, has a comfy bed and lots of premium nutrition – he is being very well cared for while he waits for his new family.  Gunner’s prior owners report he is house and crate trained, active, and friendly and playful with humans.  Gunner is also curious about cats but has never shown any aggression towards them.  Please ask to meet Gunner if he sounds like a good fit for your family!
