DESCRIPTION:

Our newest babies - Sam, Ellie, Carlton, Blue, and Eugene - were found too small and without a mommy. Babies really need to be with mom until at least eight weeks. This gives them a chance to access the nutrition, love, and social foundation needed to meet with success. As luck would have it, a dog in the area, Madison, was having a hysterical pregnancy and was ready to step in and help these babies in need. Madison did an incredible job fostering her babies and taught them everything she could before sending them on their way to their adoptive families. We will forever be grateful to Madison and her human mom for stepping in and making miracles happen.

All five babies have been well-loved and cared for. Over time, they have developed their own special personalities. Carlton is the goofiest of the puppies. He keeps everyone happy and his little eyes simply dance with merriment. A huge fan of food, this boy is always happy to chow down and keeps his belly full at all times. Although Carlton is a love bug, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your world with endless puppy antics. With time, patience, and training, Carlton will develop into the good canine citizen we know he is destined to become. If this merry little guy sounds like the right match for your family. Ask to meet him today!

All five babies have been well-loved and cared for. Over time, they have developed their own special personalities. Sam (also lovingly known as Dippy) was the runt of the litter. She is the floppiest of the group. She is sweet, affectionate, and talkative. She will easily fill her forever home with giggles and joy. Although Sam is a love, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your world with endless puppy antics. All five babies have been well-loved and cared for. Over time, they have developed their own special personalities. Ellie was a momma's girl from day one. She adored Madison and cuddled with her until she left for her forever family. Ellie likes to get in the middle of everything and stir up the fun. It also seems that she has gotten those "puppy eyes" down pat when corrected for being too rowdy. Someone needs to know when to turn the charm on and off. Although Ellie is a hoot, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your world with endless puppy antics. With time, patience, and training, Ellie will develop into the good canine citizen we know she is destined to become. If this social little girl sounds like the right match for your family. Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Approximate Age: 2 years 10 months
Color: Sable
Current Size: 55 lbs
Ideal/Potential Size: 65 lbs
Housebroken: Yes
Obedience Trained: Working on it
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Yes
Good With Cats: Unknown
Other Dogs OK: Yes
DESCRIPTION:

We would like to introduce Sage; a stunningly beautiful, bouncy, 7 month old sable.  Unfortunately, her previous family was unaware of the requirements of a GSD puppy, and made a difficult decision to surrender her so she could live her best life.  With that being said, Sage wasn’t properly socialized with other dogs or humans, and as a result, is terrified of most things.  In order to help give her the best chance, Sage will be receiving some training to help her rebuild her confidence.

As we get to know Sage, it is clear she will need time to decompress and onboard some training that will help build her confidence.  We know she will end up being an incredible, loyal and loving companion, but will need to be placed with a person or family that is either familiar with German Shepherds or is eager to learn about the temperament of the breed while providing the essentials -  training, structure, boundaries, routines, and continued guidance.

If Sage sounds like the adventure you would like to blaze trails with, please ask to add her to your family today!

Bell

ADOPTED 06/19/2023!

Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Approximate Age: 2 years 7 months
Color: Black & Tan
Current Size: 40 lbs
Ideal/Potential Size: 65 lbs
Housebroken: No, I'm a puppy!
Obedience Trained: Working on it
Altered: No

Good With Kids: Likely
Good With Cats: Unknown
Other Dogs OK: Unknown
DESCRIPTION:

Lovely little Bell and her sister, Bebe, were surrendered to a local shelter. Although it was clear that the girls were sweethearts, the shelter environment is a loud and scary place for many dogs, especially puppies. In a constant state of fear and starting to avoid people, shelter staff knew that if the girls remained in the shelter environment much longer, their chances at finding a forever home were limited. Recognizing that the girls were beginning to shut down in their new surroundings, shelter staff made an urgent plea for rescue help. Although we already had several puppies within the rescue, when we heard about Bell and Bebe's situation, we knew we needed to step forward and welcome both girls to the MAGSR family.

Bell is beyond adorable. Her lovely eyes simply draw you in and melt your heart. However, due to a lack of socialization with new people, new environments, and new animals prior to her arrival in MAGSR's care, she can be skittish and unsure in new situations and with new people. Her tendency is to attempt to run and hide. Bell is fortunate to be living with an incredible foster family that is working hard to provide her with the opportunity to socialize with new people and other animals in controlled settings. However, it is critical that Bell's forever family continue this socialization. Bell is looking for a forever family that will provide her with the structure, routine, and leadership that all dogs crave. Training will go a long way with Bebe. Not only will it help her create a strong and healthy bond with her forever family, but it will also help her develop into a stable and confident adult. If your household has the time, patience, and energy  to provide Bebe with opportunities and experiences that all young dogs deserve, ask to meet this little girl today!
