Description
The Hunger Games puppies - Peeta, Katniss, Thresh, Rue, Gale, and Finnick - were an accidental litter in the south. Although they were well-cared for as babies, as they grew, they became too much for their family. Recognizing that they were unable to provide a large number of babies with what they needed, their family surrendered them to a shelter. Unfortunately, with the overwhelming number of dogs needing placements in shelters right now, owner surrenders are the first dogs to be euthanized. The minute these babies entered the building they were in danger. Trying to do everything they could to keep this group alive, shelter staff began pleading for rescue help. When we heard about their plight, our team knew we needed to welcome the Hunger Games family to MAGSR.
Finnick is an inquisitive and interactive boy. He already has a good idea of what toys are and how they can keep him well entertained. As an active young pup, Finnick is looking for a family that can give him the time, attention, and training that will help him meet with success. Still a very young dog, it is essential that Finnick continue to socialize regularly. This will help him develop a stable and confident personality. Although Finnick is an absolute honey, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with puppy antics. With time, patience, training and socialization, Finnick will develop into the good canine citizen that we know he is destined to be. If this sweetheart sounds like the right match for your household, ask to meet him today.
