Description
Wicker and his brother, Oakley, were living with a family that was not interested in continuing to care for the boys. Although socialized with kids, cats, and other dogs, these guys were not receiving the care they needed to move forward. Fortunately, another group heard that the boys needed help, and they stepped forward to get them out of a rough situation. Recognizing that shepherds are most successful when placed with a breed specific rescue, this rescue reached out to MAGSR to see if we could welcome the boys to the family. With an incredible team of volunteers working together between both rescues, we were able to welcome Wicker and Oakley to the MAGSR family.
Wicker and Oakley are in many ways your typical goofy, playful, snuggly guys. They enjoy the company of their people and other animals. Living with one of our amazing foster families, these boys are learning the ins and outs of living within a household. They are getting endless opportunities to socialize with new people and in new environments. It is critical that their forever families continue this process as it will help them develop into stable and confident adult dogs. Although WIcker is cute as a button, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your household with endless puppy antics. With time, training, and patience, we know that Wicker will become a good canine citizen. If your family is looking for a stunning, young guy to fill you home with smiles and laughter, look no further than Wicker.
