It is with great sadness to inform you that my baby girl Calypso crossed over the rainbow bridge August 30th. Calypso came into my family as a foster in April, 2010 and from day one I knew I couldn't let her go. She was a happy, outgoing and lovable girl. In May, 2011 she became my K9 partner as she was certified as an Explosive Detection Dog. She served as a K9 deputy until retirement in April, 2016. She lived out the rest of her days just being a happy pup and sister to her two brothers. Calypso was a true rescue success story!!! She will be greatly missed.
