Description

Can you imagine after being with your person for 13 years and they suddenly disappear?  Wyatt has come back to MAGSR at the mature age of 13 as sadly his owner was in a tragic accident leaving him unable to care for Wyatt. Wyatt is an extremely loyal dog that was dearly loved and this poor boy must be super confused as to where his dad is.

Wyatt is a laid back senior boy that enjoys the companionship of his person. He is house broken and crate trained although a crate is certainly not required for this regal boy. His favorite past time is sunning himself outside on a warm day! He is super friendly and excellent with people including children 10 and above.  He doesn't get on beds or furniture and isn't a chewer. While needing a short stent in foster a few years ago he slept quietly all night on his dog bed in my 9 year old's bedroom. He would quietly go to bed in the evenings and you wouldn't hear a peep till 10 to 12 hours later when he needed to go potty. He is older now and sleeps quite a bit and although he is a bit slower he still enjoys a short stroll.

In his younger years he was courteous to other dogs in the home while on leash.  Off leash he would test the water for alpha position. Since he was fostered in a home with more than one alpha so it was safer for all to keep him on leash. As he is matured and much slower likely his drive for alpha position has lessened as he is much happier sleeping and being close to his person. He is cat friendly and super easy going.

Wyatt is on daily medication and supplements to keep him comfortable, which is bringing him some much needed relief. Please find it in your heart to give this sweet boy a loving home to lay his head for his remaining time. He will be so grateful for your love and attention. He bonds quickly to those providing love and care and will be forever grateful for your love.

Updates

Wyatt is a sweet older gentleman who has clearly been very affected by everything that has gone on recently. He is just starting to come around and show interest in his foster parents.  Wyatt has had some difficulty getting around, but his foster parents are walking him in the neighborhood, and he has wanted to go further than he has been allowed so far, but with each day, the distance is increasing.  Wyatt eats well and takes his meds easily.  Wyatt is starting to show some sign of happiness and playfulness.  If Wyatt sounds like a senior guy for you, please ask to meet him.
