Harmony

Harmony was found as a stray and ended up in a shelter. She is missing a rear paw which appears to be from an old injury. This does not slow her down, she can run and play as well as any 4 pawed dog. She is friendly and very much enjoys a good belly rub. Harmony will need training to help her overcome her dislike of vacuums, hairdryers, etc. This can be easily dealt with by putting her away when these items are in use and of course ongoing training. Harmony will make a loving companion for a very lucky family.
Updates:Sweet Miss Harmony is a friendly little cuddle bug.
Though she is small, she is mighty… Cute. If you're looking for a dog to guard your home, keep looking. Harmony greets everyone she sees with her belly exposed ready for rubs and snuggles.
She is doing well in her foster home. She enjoys attention from children and is getting along with the resident dog. She established boundaries with him letting him know that she doesn't like to roughhouse. Harmony would happily live with another dog but she would be just as happy to be an only dog. She is looking for somewhere that she can be spoiled rotten.
Harmony would not do well in a home with cats. She has a strong prey drive and cats are just way too much fun. She also likes chasing animals when she is outside. Even though she small she can create a significant impact at the end of her leash when she sees a squirrel. So it's important to always be on the lookout and have a good grasp on her leash.
Harmony is learning to respond to her name. She does not come when she's called yet. However once you have her attention she has learned how to sit. She also understands to come and drop it but she does not consistently follow it, yet. Harmony is doing very well with housebreaking her last accident was at the door where we leave to go for walks. So she has figured it out.
Harmony does not mind being crated during the day while the family is at work/school. She even goes in her crate from time to time when people are home to relax. She would prefer to go to a home where somebody lets her sleep on a dog bed on the floor in their room.
Harmony is missing a hind paw for reasons that are unknown to us. However, she has no trouble walking, running, climbing steps, navigating tree branches etc. on a walk. In fact, we're pretty sure Harmony doesn't know her paw is missing. So please don't tell her when you meet her.

Shane and his brother Sean are as cute as can be. We know mom is a GSD but we have no idea what breed dad was. These cute little bundles of joy have so much too learn and will require a patient family who can handle all that comes with puppy love. They will have accidents, they will chew and get into things they shouldn't, they will keep you up at night and require ongoing socialization with other dogs and people. Puppy training is a great start to a well behaved pup. Please be sure you able to make a commitment to him for his lifetime.

Update: Sean is a smart boy who loves attention and giving lots of kisses. We have been working on housebreaking and he is doing great. He loves playing with toys, getting treats and of course meal times.
Faye
ADOPTED 09/22/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes

Faye found herself in a shelter along with her sister Sommer and mother Adele. The condition they were in made it obvious that they were not well cared for. All were covered in fleas and underweight. Faye is now in a foster home receiving proper care, nutrition and love. She will benefit from guidance, consistency and training. This will help build her confidence, teach her good manners and bond with her family.
Updates:Faye took little time adjusting to her new foster home. She is very loving and playful. Faye loves playing with the pull toy and walks nicely as part of the pack with the resident dogs. Faye also enjoys time with the resident children, she loves on them and plays very gently with them. We are working on housebreaking and she already has an idea of going potty outside. It is just going to take a little more work. If you are ready for a fun loving puppy that will be a great addition consider Faye.
Jake

Jake came to us as an owner surrender as his family could not find anywhere to live that would allow Jake. His family was heartbroken. Jake was their 1 1/2 year old child's best friend, he had been with him since the baby was born. He is a friendly, loving boy who enjoys other dogs and spending time with his people. He loves the outdoors, going for walks and playtime. One of his favorite games is playing keep away when you run after him. Although he is enjoying the comforts of a foster home, he would love to have a forever family.

Bear found himself in a shelter and we cannot imagine why. He is such a nice boy, very laid back and nothing seems to phase him. He is good with other dogs that he has met and enjoys time with people. Ask to meet this big handsome fella, he could be your new bff.
Titan

This handsome boy made his way to us as his family is moving and not able to take him with them. He was much loved and well cared for. In his previous home he lived with 2 young children. Titan enjoys the company of other dogs. He rides well in the car, is housebroken and crate trained. He does need work on his leash manners but does correct easily when pulling. Titan would be a good fit for almost any family.
Kit Kat
ADOPTED 09/09/2017!

Kit Kat is doing great with adapting to her foster home, with her cohabitant female lab and a bunny. She doesn’t seem to have a prey drive, as she shows no interest in the bunny. She is very sweet and is quick to warm up to new people. I’m amazed at how fast she picks up basic commands and learns the routines of a new environment. She came into rescue with Parasites and a respiratory infection although she is improving every day and has great appetite, which should help with her being a bit underweight. She seems new to being on a leash, so I’m working on her leash manners, although she is picking up the routine and processes quickly. She has no food aggression issues, and does well in a crate. She is housebroken, and will kindly let you know when she needs to go. She loves being by your side, and will follow you around, seeking attention and waiting for direction. If you’re looking for snuggle buddy, that will provide unconditional love, give Kit Kat a chance.
Julie
ADOPTED 09/08/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown

Julie was adopted from a shelter when she was just a puppy, sadly she somehow ended up back at the shelter 3 years later. Julie is an energetic girl, it is obvious her former family did not spend time training with her. Training is so very important as it provides a well balanced dog who knows what is expected of them and teaches them good manners. It is never too late for training and Julie is eager to learn.
Updates:
Julie loves to chase her big red ball.
Bella

Bella made her way to us from us a shelter.
She was surrendered to the shelter due to ongoing allergies/skin issues. She is now under the care of our vets who are treating her, she has also been switched to a grain free diet.
She has made great improvements medically, but still has a way to go. We are hopeful with the care that she is receiving we will get this under control.
Bella is so sweet and loving, in her previous home she lived with 6 children and other dogs.
