MAGSR dogs rely on your generosity all year long, but...
On Giving Tuesday we ask you to do all you can to support MAGSR's mission: to rescue GSDs & mixes that have been abused, abandoned, lost, strayed, and surrendered.

We need you more than ever this year. Our 2025 donations are down and expenses are up.

This Giving Tuesday, your gift can go twice as far.  Generous MAGSR sponsors have agreed to match your first $15,000 of Giving Tuesday donations. 

Remember, MAGSR is fully volunteer run, so your donations go straight to care for the dogs.

Here are some of the ways your gift to MAGSR will help the pups:

  • $25 - One night kennel stay for one dog
  • $60 - Flea/tick medicine for 5 dogs for one month
  • $80 - Food for one dog/month
  • $100 - Four nights in a kennel
  • $250 - Transportation cost for one dog
  • $400 - Cost to neuter one male dog
  • $600 - Cost to spay one female dog
  • $1250 - Two week board and train for one dog
  • $1500 - Average cost of heartworm treatment for one dog

And all the other unexpected and emergency costs that always come up for puppies, medical cases, special needs dogs, and all the other surprises that come along with our mission.

Volunteers!
On this Giving Tuesday, we want to recognize those who give themselves to MAGSR every single day, our volunteers! In case you didn't know, MAGSR is fully volunteer run. We are a family and we depend on each other to keep giving dogs the second chance they deserve. A very special role as a MAGSR volunteer is becoming a Medical Foster. Fostering a medical dog for MAGSR is more than providing temporary shelter. It means creating a safe, calm environment where an injured, sick, or recovering dog can heal both physically and emotionally. Many of these dogs require medications, diagnostic tests, surgeries, physical therapy, follow-up appointments, or long-term treatment plans. The cost of this care goes far beyond what adoption fees or standard rescue budgets can cover. However, we all know it is worth it.
