Greetings MAGSR Family! It has been 3 years since Leona (GA-38) and I became a family. Every day for the past three years has been an adventure, and I have had the great pleasure of a front row seat to this smart and sassy girl's growing happiness and willingness to give and receive trust and love. This past year has been a particularly special one for our special girl - who many of you showed boundless compassion, patience, and kindness in her journey from Georgia to Maryland. One highlight was a cross country roadtrip in which Leona explored many national, state, and local parks and other natural attractions. From coast to coast, Leona picked up new pastimes (among them - paddleboarding, cliff walking, as well as gondola and ferry-riding) and honed some of her old favorites (hiking, swimming, digging holes, and rolling in good smells in every state). As wonderful as our adventures were, there's still no place like home. Thank you for helping us find that in one another!
