Teddy

Dear MAGSR,

It's hard to believe we've had Teddy a year last month and I wanted to send a quick note that it's been amazing.  Looking back, I wish we had documented the journey a bit more but who knew he would come so far.

He undeniably had a tough life before MAGSR.  Given all of the things he was afraid of and has staunchly faced,  he is certainly one of the bravest dogs I know.  I'm attaching some pictures from one of Teddy's recent downtown "shop-til-you-drop" outings but it barely does this guy justice.   He's come from cowering in his crate and spending his days with his tail tucked so far you couldn't see it to enjoying company, showering kids with gentle attention, and even trying to sneak a bit off food off our plates at a restaurant.  (Oh, and meeting the unexpected fireworks at said restaurant as if they were nothing.)

He's just been signed up for advanced obedience which we believe he's going to relish.  (Such a difference from his first days in basic obedience.)

I hope folks at MAGSR who knew Teddy "way back when" will see this.  I'm sure they will be just as proud of him as we are.

Best regards,

Theresa

P.S.  Up until nine months, we thought we had "hit the jackpot" with regard to GSD coats.  And then he began shedding.  :-)  At least he will hopefully enjoy this winter a bit more with a full coat!
