Adopted MAGSR Dogs

*Update* Tasha’s fosters are thrilled that this precious girl is heartworm free!  She is looking for a forever home where she can enjoy company most of the day with hugs and head-to-head snuggling.  She’s a low to moderate energy GSD and is gentle in all ways.  While she has not shown much interest in other dogs, her fosters continue to work on her socialization skills.   She enjoys walks that give her opportunities to sniff and stroll and is not affected at all by other passing dogs.   Training also continues as we all work together on basic commands.

Tasha is a survivor. After being horribly neglected, she was dumped at a vet with her two pups where the entire family was to be euthanized. Fortunately, another rescue learned of this little family's plight and was able to save them in time. Tasha's puppies were able to find families quickly. However, Tasha needed some additional care as her body had endured significant neglect. 

With the help of another rescue, Tasha was nursed back to health. She received the medical care and kindness that this beautiful girl so clearly deserved. Although Tasha has experienced cruelty at the hands of people, she remains loving and attentive. She enjoys the comforts of a soft bed and head rubs. Dave and his buddy, Dana, were found running loose in a rural area. The dogs were brought to a shelter where they waited to be claimed. Unfortunately, no one came for them and as time passed it seemed no one wanted this special pair. Dave and Dana are a bonded pair. They rely on one another for comfort and safety. They are looking for a home that has room for two. 

Dave is a friendly guy. He arrived at the shelter emaciated but has been putting back on the much needed pounds with regular feedings. Social and curious, Dave enjoys the company of his people. Although found as a stray, Dave appears to have lived in a household prior to his arrival at MAGSR. He is intelligent and attentive to his handler. Dave is looking for a family that will care for him and his pal Dana for a lifetime. If you are ready to bring this lovely pair into your household, ask to meet them today. 

Precious little Joshua is one of Sheena's puppies. Just like his amazing mom, Joshua is a survivor. He and his seven siblings - Jacob, Joey, Jaycee, Jaxx, Jason, James, and Jazzmine - were removed from their home just in the nick of time. With several good samaritans along the way, this family made their way to the MAGSR family. 

Joshua is a sweetheart and is fortunate to have the kindness of his mother in him. This playful guy brings smiles to everyone around him. Although Joshua is an incredible boy, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance, and training, Joshua will develop into the good canine citizen he is destined to become. Playful Marley was a stray who was brought into a local shelter. When no one came to claim this handsome guy, MAGSR decided to step in to help him find his forever home.

Although we do not know a lot about Marley's household manners, we do know that he is a playful and active guy. Friendly with people and dogs, Marley wins over everyone around him. In many ways Marley still has many puppy-like behaviors. Although Marley is good with kids, his playfulness and exuberance tends to cause him to knock them over. As a result, he will be best suited for a household without young children. Marley will excel with leadership and training. Training will not only help him develop into a good canine citizen but it will also help him bond with his new family.
