Anshu and his family - Tej, Novi, and Asha - were dumped on the side of a busy road in the south. With traffic flying past at high speeds, this little family was not likely to survive for long. Fortunately, a good samaritan saw what was happening and stopped to try to help the family. With an incredible stroke of good luck she was able to corral the family and convince them to hop into her car. From there she took them to a rescue friendly boarding facility. Although the authorities were contacted and a stray hold was put into effect, no one came forward. Recognizing that this family would benefit from rescue placement, a plea went out for help. MAGSR knew this family deserved the chance to move forward as a unit, so our team welcomed all four members into the rescue.

Anshu is a confident, interactive, and intelligent guy. He has been well-socialized with his family and seems to have brung stability to the little family. Adventurous and curious about the world around him, Anshu is hoping to find a forever family that enjoys long walks and exploration. Although Anshu has been a phenomenal dad, it is time for him to move on and find a forever family that will cherish him. Anshu seems to enjoy the company of his people. He is attentive to the handler and very responsive. Anshu is looking for a forever family that will continue to teach him the ins and outs of living in a loving home. As is true of all shepherds, Anshu will thrive with structure, routine, and leadership. Daily exercise for his body and his mind will help him settle nicely into her forever home. As he moves forward, training is critical for Anshu's success. Not only will training help Anshu create a strong and healthy bond with his family, but it will also help him become a good canine citizen. Anshu is looking for a family that will love him for a lifetime. If he sounds like the right match for you, ask to meet him today.

Asha is a friendly and affectionate girl. She greatly enjoys the company of other dogs and seems to open up in their presence. An incredible mother, Asha was playful and interactive with her babies - Novi and Tej. Although Asha has been a phenomenal mom, it is time for her to move on and find a forever family that will cherish her. Asha seems to enjoy the company of her people. However, she can be a little timid and skittish with new people and in new situations. She is looking for a family that is patient and will go slow. Given time to adjust, Asha is gentle and affectionate. As is true of all shepherds, Asha will thrive with structure, routine, and leadership. Daily exercise for her body and her mind will help her settle nicely into her forever home. As she moves forward, training is critical for Asha's success. Not only will training help Asha create a strong and healthy bond with her family, but it will also help her become a good canine citizen. DESCRIPTION:

Sookie and her ten siblings (the Gilmore puppies) found themselves in an overcrowded shelter in the south. The number of dogs needing placement is simply overwhelming shelters across the country. Unfortunately, these babies, like so many other dogs, were in need of help fast. Recognizing that these babies deserved every opportunity to meet with success, staff at the shelter sent out personal rescue pleas attempting to keep this large family alive. When we heard that the Gilmore puppies needed placement, our incredible team began putting together plans to welcome all eleven babies into the rescue.

The Gilmore puppies are a social, playful, and interactive bunch. They have clearly had opportunities to socialize with people and other animals. However, this process has just begun. It is essential that their forever families continue to provide opportunities to socialize with people and animals in new and safe environments. This will help the Gilmore puppies develop stability and confidence as adult dogs. Training is also critical for these babies as it will not only help them create a healthy bond with their forever families, but it will also help them develop into good canine citizens. The Gilmore puppies have all settled into amazing foster families where they are learning the comforts and routines of living in a home. They are learning about toys, treats, and the joy of a good nap. As they move forward, the Gilmore puppies will be looking for loving forever homes that will continue to provide them with structure, routine, and leadership. Although these babies are cute as can be, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with endless puppy antics. With time, patience, and training, we are positive these babies will grow into incredible adult dogs. The Gilmore puppies will open for adoption on April 22nd.
