Jesenya and her four sisters -  Jesalyn, Jesamine, Jesibel, and Jesirae - were found by a good samaritan on the side of the road. Thinking these babies were likely dumped, this kind person collected them all and brought them to an animal clinic to make sure they were safe and healthy. Once medically cleared the pups were taken to a shelter to wait out their stray hold. Although these girls are playful and interactive, the shelter is no place for babies. When asked if we could help these little ladies move forward, we immediately made arrangements to welcome them into the MAGSR family.

Jesenya is adorable, energetic and intelligent. Within the safety of the MAGSR family, this little girl is just starting to learn about the joys of good food, a soft bed, and a loving household. Jesenya is ready to move forward with a forever family that will provide her with the love, care, and attention that this little pup so clearly deserves. Although Jesenya is an absolute cutie, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy energy which results in endless puppy antics. They will get into things, whine, and will chew on inappropriate items. With time, training, patience, and socialization, Jesenya will develop into the good canine citizen we know she is destined to become. Lovely Katie Ann was picked up as a stray and sheltered by another rescue while they waited for her stray hold. Unfortunately, no one came forward to claim this lovely girl. Although they enjoyed their time with Katie Ann, the rescue caring for her felt that she would be most likely to find her forever family if she moved into a breed specific rescue. When asked if we could help Katie Ann take the next step toward her forever home, MAGSR immediately stepped forward.

Katie Ann is an affectionate and friendly girl especially with her people. She greatly enjoys the company of the people within her sphere and seems to understand the ins and outs of living with a family. However, as is true with most shepherds, Katie Ann will overbond if given the opportunity. This can cause her to become overprotective of her people, her property, and her home. In order to meet with success, Katie Ann is looking for an experienced household that will work with her to develop a healthy relationship. Boundaries and clear expectations are very helpful to her success. Katie Ann will thrive with routine, leadership, and structure. Training will also go a long way with this lovely girl. Not only will training help Katie Ann bond to her forever family, but it will also help her develop into a good and stable canine citizen. Katie Ann has already begun to learn some basics with our volunteers, but she will flourish with continued training. Although Katie Ann can be walked calmly in areas with other dogs, she is looking for a home where she is the only dog.
