Adopted MAGSR Dogs

Cane is one of 22 dogs from the Carolina's that needed help due to Hurricane Florence. 

Cane is handsome golden boy.   We are not sure if he has any GSD mixed in, but he needed a place to start a new life so we welcomed him with opened arms.  As he just arrived in our care we are still learning more about him, so watch for updates. 

Ella came to us as a result of MAGSR stepping up to help these puppies, along with several other dogs, from a rescue in the Carolinas who had to evacuate due to flooding from Hurricane Florence. Ella cannot be any cuter and is absolutely a great little girl, happy go lucky and loves to give puppy kisses. Ella has a lot to learn about going a good canine citizen and will require training. Please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family - puppies are a ten to twelve year commitment. Puppies are full of energy and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance and training, Ella will become even more of an amazing girl than she already is. Please inquire if Ella sounds like a good match for your family.

Kit is one of 22 dogs from the Carolina's that needed help due to Hurricane Florence. 

Kit is settling into his new foster home where his foster family is getting to  know him better.  He is young and so ready to learn all that he needs to know.  Training will do wonders for both Kit and his new family, it will teach both how to work together and create a lifelong bond.  Please watch for updates from his foster family.

Becca, along with other family members, were dumped at the shelter. Not often we are happy when dogs are dumped at shelters, but in this case, they are lucky they were. The family of Shepherds lived outside, no vet care, no vaccines, no preventatives. Tamma is now safe in our care and waiting patiently to find her forever family.  Training of course is a must with any dog, it not only teaches good manners, but also helps creates a bond with their family.  Tamma is settling into her foster home, her foster family will provide updates.

Corona's persons new job involves a lot of travel, with long periods of time away from home.  Knowing he could no longer provide her with a stable home she was returned to us.  Corona has gone through obedience training, but it is important that her new family also take her to training so that you learn to work together and create a bond.  Corona is a friendly girl, she enjoys going for walks and playing fetch. 

Oakley, along with other family members, were dumped at shelter. Not often we are happy when dogs are dumped at shelters, but in this case, they are lucky they were. Murphy made his way to us from a shelter where he was a stray.  We have no past history for him, so we are getting to know him.  He requires a slower approach when meeting new people.   He is in need of training which will help him learn good manners, build his confidence and bond with his new family.

Evi was tied to a fence in a nearby park with a note on her neck that her owner is homeless and asked for someone to please give her a good home.  The shelter reached out to MAGSR to help Evi find a forever home.  It is reported that she is good with children and other dogs, but will Chase cats.  She is a friendly, sweet girl.  She does need basic obedience training which will teach her good manners and help the bond between her and her new family.  

Baldwin was surrendered as his family was moving and could not take him with them.  He is a young energetic pup who needs a family that has the time, patience and are willing to commit to raising a young dog.  He will require training, guidance and boundaries so that he will become a well mannered, well socialized adult GSD.  He is settling into his foster home so watch for updates as the foster gets to know more about him.
