Description

Momma Starlight and her adorable babies - Niner, Peace, Benisa and Seven - were surrendered to an overcrowded shelter when the babies were just 6 weeks old. Although shelter staff do everything they can to keep families safe, raising puppies in a shelter is stressful for the entire family and often results in illness. Although this family was clearly very sweet, no one stepped forward to help them. As shelter numbers everywhere are at astronomical rates, Momma Starlight and her babies were at significant risk of being euthanized as owner surrenders are typically the first to cross. Days passed without interest and the family was placed on the list to be euthanized. The rescue community was doing everything they could to help, but with rescues at critical levels finding placement options was very challenging. Fortunately, an incredible rescue close to the shelter was able to secure temp fosters for the family hoping to work with other rescues to move them forward. When asked if MAGSR could be the family's rescue destination, our team sent out a plea for help. We were lucky to have fosters ready and willing to help. The uncertainty of their survival had finally ended as they made their way to the MAGSR family.

Seven and his adorable siblings have been through a lot of changes in a short period of time. However, a resilient group, these babies have maintained some very typical puppy behaviors. They are active, intelligent, and very good with other animals. With a good understanding of toys, treats, and a soft place to relax, all four babies have been lucky to have settled in experienced foster families. Still developing their socialization skills, Seven and his siblings will need endless opportunities to socialize with people and other animals in safe and controlled settings. Socialization is critical to their success as this will help them develop into stable adult dogs. Although these babies are cute as can be, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. Puppies will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your household with endless puppy antics. With time, training, patience, and leadership we know that Seven and his siblings are destined for greatness. Seven is looking for a household that will provide him with a good balance of training, playtime, and cuddles. If this handsome little guy sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet him today!

Description

Vibrant Valkyrie was sitting at an overcrowded animal shelter waiting for someone to come and claim her. Although she waited, no one stepped forward for this lovely lady. As shelters are simply unable to keep up with the number of animals in need, unclaimed animals often struggle to make it out alive. Valkyrie's time was running short. Fortunately, another group stepped forward and welcomed Valkyrie into their care. She was very lucky to find someone that would help her move forward as well as help address her medical needs. Valkyrie was heartworm positive upon her arrival with the other rescue. However, they ensured she had everything she needed and walked her through treatment. Having completed treatment months ago, but without adoption interest, MAGSR was asked to welcome Valkyrie into our care so that she might meet with better success with a breed specific rescue. Valkyrie had been waiting for over a year for this chance. When we learned she needed placement, we knew she would be a great match for the MAGSR family.

Valkyrie is an active, intelligent, and social girl. Having been well socialized with people somewhere along her journey, Valkyrie connects with people quickly. She loves a good hug and lean in. A huge fan of the outdoors, Valkyrie is greatly enjoying the fall weather and is happy to be out and about with her person. Although we do not know anything about Valkyrie's past, we do know that she has a bright future. As is true of all shepherds, Valkyrie will thrive when provided with structure, routine, and leadership. She is looking for a household that will provide her with clear expectations and boundaries as well as patience as she adjusts to her forever family. Training will go a long way with Valkyrie. Not only will this help her build a strong, healthy bond with her forever family, but it will also help her develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen. Valkyrie has been waiting for a family of her very own for far too long. If this lovely girl sounds like a match for your family, ask to meet her today!

Description

Precious Poseidon is one of the lucky dogs who has lived in an incredible household where he has been cherished. Although his family adored this big, handsome guy, when circumstances changed, his family began searching for rescue placement so that Poseidon could move forward safely with an amazing family that would love him. Surrendering a member of the family is never an easy decision. It is not a choice that any family comes to lightly; however, Poseidon's family knew that it was in his best interest to say goodbye. We promised that we would do everything we could to ensure that Poseidon found an incredible match.

Intelligent, social, and clearly a stunning guy, Poseidon (Psy) embodies many of your typical GSD traits. Curious about his environment while also very aware of his surroundings, Psy, like most shepherds, doesn't miss a beat. He is capable, engaging, and protective when he needs to be. An active guy, Psy greatly enjoys getting out and about on a daily basis. True of most shepherds, Psy does best when both his body and his mind are exercised on a daily basis. This helps him maintain stability. Having always lived in a pack, Psy is looking for a home that has another dog. He thrives in this environment and is not successful without canine companions. However, as is true of all new furry family members, Psy will need time to build solid and lasting relationships with his new pack members. Time, patience, training, and opportunities to meet with success will help him adjust to his forever family. Psy already knows many of the ins and outs of living in a household. He is housebroken and crate trained, but does prefer a stronger crate for safety. With routine, structure, and leadership, Psy thrives in the household. True of all new dogs, Psy will need to participate in training. Not only will training help Psy build a healthy and lasting bond with his forever family, but it will also help him develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen. With a few commands already in place, this guy is ready to continue learning.

Poseidon is an amazing guy who is looking for an active family who will ensure he has plenty of toys, daily opportunities to exercise, and endless love. If Poseidon sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet this handsome guy today!

Description

The Vampire Litter - Giles, Oz, and Willow - found themselves alone and in need of help. Without a mommy in sight, they were lucky to find a good Samaritan who made sure these delightful little babies made their way to the safety of a rescue. Under the care of an experienced puppy foster, the babies began getting everything they needed to meet with success. With full bellies, vaccines started, and plenty of socialization, these babies were thriving. Although their foster family adored these babies, it was clear that they would be most successful if placed within a breed specific rescue. When our team was contacted about Vampire litter, we knew that we could help them move forward safely. So, we immediately welcomed the babies to the family.

All three puppies are beyond adorable. They are playful, interactive, and filled with endless joy. Although their foster families are continuing to provide these babies with socialization with people and other animals, it is critical that their forever families continue this process. This will help all three pups develop into stable adult dogs. Willow and her siblings are cute as can be; however, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. Puppies will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with endless puppy antics. With time, patience, training, and socialization, Willow will develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen. If your family is looking for a delightful little lady full of snuggles, look no further than Willow!

Updates:
Wonderful Willow has been enjoying life living in a pack. She has adjusted to both the human and furry members of her household incredibly well and is adored by her foster family. A social and stable pup, Willow loves interacting with kids and adults in the neighborhood. She greets everyone with tail wags, playbows, and plenty of puppy smiles. This little lady sure does know how to bring joy to everyone around.  With routine and consistency, Willow is doing very well with housebreaking. She cues when she needs to go outside and takes care of her business quickly. Crate training has also gone very well. Willow keeps her crate dry throughout the night and even waits until her foster family is moving around in the morning before she cues to go outside. Such an impressive baby, Willow seems to pick up new expectations without difficulty. It helps that she loves treats, toys, and praise. An intelligent girl with a moderate level of energy, Willow is a nice combination of puppy energy and snuggles. She is always ready for the next adventure, but will need a good nap afterwards.  Willow is looking for a forever family that will maintain her confidence through continued socialization and training. This will help her develop the skills needed to develop into a good canine citizen. If your household is looking for a playful, intelligent, and adorable girl, look no further than Willow!

Description

Beautiful Bailey was adored by her family. They knew she was a special girl and ensured that she had endless love, attention, and plenty of toys. However, when an unexpected event took place, they were unable to keep Bailey and provide her with the life they knew she deserved. Recognizing that we would provide Bailey with everything she needed to meet with success, her family made the heartbreaking decision to return her to the MAGSR. Knowing this was a very difficult decision, we promised we would find Bailey the perfect forever family.

Bailey is an active, intelligent, and playful girl. She loves her people fiercely and gives them every ounce of affection she has. With some very strong GSD traits, Bailey is loyal, protective, and on point. She tends to notice everything around her and keeps an eye on her people at all times.  As a girl with a high prey drive, smaller creatures can be a little too enticing for Bailey. She finds joy in chasing small creatures, such as rabbits and squirrels, and will need to be monitored closely if they are out and about with her. Fond of the outdoors, Bailey is always up for a long walk, hike, or adventure. She takes cues well from the handler and knows many commands. Lucky to have lived in a loving household for a few years, Bailey has developed a solid understanding of and appreciation for toys; she is hoping her forever family enjoys them too! She loves to play ball and can't help but enjoy a good squeaky toy. With a few years of experience living in a home, Bailey has also developed an affinity for a soft bed. She loves cuddling up on her dog bed and doesn't mind having a dog bed or two in the house just to change up viewpoints throughout the day. Although Bailey is crate trained and housebroken, once settled, she prefers to be out and about. This seems to keep her more settled throughout the day. As is true of all shepherds Bailey will thrive with structure, routine, and leadership. Providing clear boundaries and expectations will help Bailey meet with success. Bailey has already completed some basic training; however, she is always up for more! Continued training is essential to Bailey's success. Not only will it help her develop her canine citizenship skills, but it will also help her develop a strong and healthy bond with her forever family.

If your family is looking for an active girl who will fill your days with doggy smiles, squeaky toys, and plenty of exercise, Bailey is your girl.

Updates:
I am a 5 yr old girl with a lot of spunk.  I get real excited when it's time to go out.  I like people, but I'm reactive to other dogs.  I am good with my commands, I am crate trained, I like laying at my human's feet in the evenings.  When my people leave, I get all upset, I seem to do better when left out of  my crate.  I have a good appetite and take treats gently, and I'm good on walks. I feel like Super Girl, can jump a 5 ft door at the kennel.  I like to play with stuffed toys, I'm not a big fan of balls.  I like to play in the pool at the kennel.  If I sound like the dog for you, I'm looking for my forever home. , Bailey, like most dogs, has her pros and cons with her personality. The good things about her - she's very friendly with people, and she bonds very closely to her people. She is very well trained.  In the evenings I bring her in from her final walk and make her sit, then I say "okay" and she runs for her doggy bed next to the couch where I sit to watch TV, and she lays there until it's time to go to bed. She is crate trained and does good in the crate except when you leave.  She loves to go for car rides, and loves her stuffed toys, especially ones with squeakers. She will play with balls that squeak sometimes, but she likes stuffed toys better.  She has some toys, a doggy bed, and a secure crate that go with her. Bailey is not a fan of thunderstorms, fireworks and small dogs. It seems if you have her next to you during storms, she does much better, and is not as skittish. She prefers to be the only dog in the house. You have to be on guard with her around open doors. She does have separation anxiety and would rather spend time with her humans. If Bailey sounds like the pup for you, she’s ready to go!

Description

The St. Pat's Litter - Guiness, Seamus, and Gem - was born to a less than reputable breeder at the beginning of the year. Interested in selling the babies for money and not interested in seeing anything more than a paycheck, many backyard breeders and puppy mill owners feel that once puppies have reached twelve weeks, they are no longer of worth. As the puppies lose their worth in the eyes of their owners, many are inhumanly killed without a second thought. The St. Pat's litter was in the same situation as so many babies that have lost their lives due to greedy and inhumane practices. They had reached twelve weeks and the decision was made to end their lives with a shotgun. As luck would have it a good samaritan found out about the St. Pat's litter and knew she had to try to save them. Recognizing they had hours to live, she worked with the owner to have all three babies surrendered to MAGSR.

Guiness and his siblings - Seamus and Gem - are beyond adorable. Although they grew up in less than ideal circumstances, these babies are sweet and social. With MAGSR's support they have moved into incredible foster families that have been showing them what true love looks and feels like. With daily opportunities to socialize with people and other animals, these babies have begun to receive the care and attention that they have deserved since they were born. Learning the ins and outs of living in a home, these babies have begun housebreaking and crate training. They are also learning the joy of endless toys, a comfortable bed, and nice full bellies. It is important that their forever families continue to provide them with opportunities to learn, socialize, and develop the skills needed to develop into stable adult dogs. Although Guiness and his siblings are impressive babies, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. Puppies will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your household with endless puppy antics. With time, training, patience, and leadership, we know that the St. Pat's litter will grow into amazing canine citizens. If sweet Guiness sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet this sweetheart today!

Description

Charming Chapo was picked up by another rescue last year in the Spring. The rescue that pulled him knew that this handsome guy was in desperate need of rescue support. Although they didn't have many options for him, they knew that if they kept him safe, they would be able to find a breed specific rescue that would be able to help Chapo move forward safely. Fortunately, they were able to provide Chapo with temporary placement where he thrived. Knowing that Chapo was a great dog but wasn't in the right situation to move forward, inquiries were sent out so that Chapo could transfer to a rescue with more options. When MAGSR had a few openings at the beginning of the year, our team stepped forward to offer this handsome guy the opportunity to find an incredible match that will love him for a lifetime.

Chapo is a handsome boy with some good energy. A gentle soul, this boy is friendly but a little hesitant with new people and new situations. Having moved about so many times already, this sweetheart will need some time to decompress and settle into his forever home knowing that he will never need to look for a family again. True of the breed, Chapo will be most successful in an environment where structure, routine, and leadership are present. This will help him adjust to his forever home and develop the confidence he needs to meet with success. Training will go a long way with Chapo. He already knows several commands. However, continued training is critical as it will not only help Chapo create a healthy bond with his forever family, but it will also help him develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen. It is highly evident that Chapo was socialized with people and other animals along his journey. However, we do not have any information about his life prior to his arrival in rescue. This boy is looking for time, patience, and a soft landing with the right family. Could that family be you?

Updates:
Chapo has been a very welcome pleasure in his foster home! He's a friendly, playful pup who gets along well with his foster home's three resident dogs, that are large and small. Chapo is crate-trained and housebroken; he even walks well on a leash. He's not food aggressive and is learning commands quickly. He enjoys napping and relaxing with the foster family while they watch TV. Overall, Chapo is a sweet boy who thrives with daily mental and physical stimulation. He would do great in a home that can provide him with playtime, enrichment, and love!

Description

Siber was originally part of the Molly's Hogwarts litter a couple years ago. These babies and their mommy, Molly, were confiscated from a cruelty and neglect situation. Fortunately, MAGSR was able to place the family in foster homes so that they could find incredible families that would love them for a lifetime. Siber was adopted as a puppy and has lived with a family for the past two years. Recognizing the importance of providing him with rules and boundaries, Siber's family made sure that he learned the ins and outs of living in a household and gave him opportunities to meet with success through training. Although they adopted Siber with the intent to provide him with a forever family, sometimes things do not work out the way we planned. When Siber's family could no longer provide him with the daily routines, exercise, and care he needed to meet with success, they contacted MAGSR knowing we would find him an incredible home.

Siber is a stunning guy. Tall, lanky, and intelligent, this boy has typical young GSD energy and is not a couch potato. With high ball drive and a love for playing fetch, Siber is looking for a forever family that is happy to keep their throwing arm in good shape. As an active guy, Siber will need a family that will exercise both his body and his mind on a daily basis. This will help him develop the stability and confidence all GSDs need to meet with success. Having recently moved out of what he considered his forever home, Siber is currently a little lost. Our volunteers are working with him to help him move forward. He does best when given some time and patience to adjust to new people and situations. Continued socialization in controlled settings with new people and new environments is key to his success. Siber is looking for a forever home that will provide him with structure, routine, patience, and leadership that all GSDs need. He is hoping that an experienced GSD household will provide him with the tools needed for success. Food and toy motivated, Siber knows his perfect family is just waiting to meet him. Could Siber be the match for you?

Nola is playful, affectionate, and social. With a joyful personality, Nola has been bringing daily smiles to her foster family. With regular opportunities to socialize with other dogs and people, Nola has filled her foster home with giggles and endless happiness. Living with an experienced household, this lovely little lady has begun to learn the ins and outs of living in a household. She understands the importance of structure, routine, and an endless pile of toys. As is true of all dogs, training will go a long way with Nola as it will help her develop the confidence and stability needed to become a good canine citizen. Although this little lady is beyond adorable, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with puppy antics. With time, patience, and socialization, we know Nola will develop into an incredible adult. If your family is looking for a goofball that will fill your days with giggles and nights with snuggles, look no further than Nola.

Description

Tate was purchased as a puppy and brought home into a loving family. He was happily surrounded by women and did very well with all of them. Unfortunately, when circumstances changed, it became clear that Tate would need to be rehomed. This is never an easy decision. However, Tate's family knew it was in his best interest. So, they surrendered him to MAGSR asking us to find their handsome boy a phenomenal forever family.

Tate is a big, active, intelligent guy. Having said goodbye to his family and his home, he is a little rattled by the recent changes in his world. He knows he's a good boy, but he doesn't understand why things have changed or if he did something wrong. Our volunteers have been working with Tate to help him adjust to his new circumstances. Like many new dogs in the rescue, Tate will need time, patience, and structure as he adjusts to his new surroundings. He gravitates towards handlers that provide clear rules and expectations. This is helpful as Tate enjoys consistency. Although he arrived with some commands already in place, continued training will help him meet with success. Not only will training help Tate develop a strong and healthy bond with his forever family, it will also help him build the skills needed to become a good canine citizen.

Tate has had the benefit of living in a home. He understands many of the ins and outs of being an inside dog. Housebroken and crate trained, this guy is past the basics. However, as is true of all new dogs, he will need time to learn the expectations and routines of his forever family. Tate is looking for a forever family that has plenty of toys, enjoys daily exercise, and will love him for a lifetime. If Tate sounds like the right match for your household, ask to meet this handsome guy today!

Updates:
Tate has been a pleasure to work with. He's a quick learner, his behavior has gotten much better and has been on great upward trajectory. He's going to make a great family dog.

Description

Seamus and his siblings - Guiness and Gem - are beyond adorable. Although Seamus and his siblings are impressive babies, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. Puppies will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your household with endless puppy antics. With time, training, patience, and leadership, we know that the St. Pat's litter will grow into amazing canine citizens. If adorable Seamus sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet this baby today!

Description

Stunning Smokey was picked up as a stray in the south. This adorable guy was simply too sweet for words. Shelter staff assumed someone would be looking for him. However, when no one stepped forward to claim him, Smokey was in need of support and fast. Shelters continue to drown in overwhelming numbers of animals in need. They simply cannot keep up with daily intake demands. With so many animals coming in, but very few leaving with forever families, many animals are being euthanized for space. Shelter staff knew Smokey deserved an incredible family that would cherish him. However, without adoption resources they worried he would not make it out alive. A rescue plea was sent out with the hope that an organization would step forward and pull Smokey before it was too late. When we learned that Smokey needed placement, our team began putting things in place to welcome this boy to MAGSR.

As a young, intelligent boy, Smokey is very much still a baby. He is goofy, playful, and affectionate. Although we do not know anything about his past, we do know that this guy was socialized with other animals and people. He seems to already understand many of the ins and outs of social situations. However, as is critical with all dogs, Smokey will need continued socialization to meet with success. Opportunities to learn about new people and new environments will help him develop into a healthy and stable adult. Training will also go a long way with this boy. Not only will training help Smokey develop a healthy bond with his forever family, but it will also help him build the skills needed to become a good canine citizen. Smokey is lucky to have been placed with one of our incredible foster families. He is settling into the household so that he can begin to learn the ins and outs of the home. We are sure he will happily adjust to the routines and structure of the home and won't have any problem snuggling on a cozy dog bed.

Unfortunately, we have learned that Smokey is heartworm positive. This diagnosis could have easily been avoided with monthly prevention. Fortunately, our team has already begun Smokey's treatment. He will need to take it easy over the next few months while he heals. Heartworm treatment is expensive, but Smokey is definitely worth the cost. Please consider donating to Smokey's care. Your donation will not only help us meet Smokey's needs, but it will also help us continue to support dogs with medical needs. This sweet guy is looking for an incredible forever family that will cherish him for a lifetime, could that family be with you?

Description

Sometimes when it seems like everything is going wrong, the world shifts, the stars align, and things start improving. This situation reflects Mini Cooper's journey. This handsome guy was noticed as a local stray by an experienced group of rescuers. Lost, confused, and hungry, Mini Cooper wasn't sure if the people who had noticed him were there to help or to hurt him. So, he remained aloof and watched from a safe distance. Recognizing that this boy needed help and fast, particularly with the cold weather we have been experiencing, his finders worked together to safely trap Mini Cooper. Once safe, they brought him to a local shelter where he waited patiently for his family to come and claim him. Although Mini Cooper took this time to decompress and begin recognizing that most people are kind, no one stepped forward for this guy. As numbers are at critical levels at many shelters, once his stray hold ended, Mini Cooper was added to the list to be euthanized. Knowing this boy deserved a chance at a loving home, the same finders who originally rescued Mini Cooper reached out to MAGSR for help. How could we possibly say no to such a good boy?

Mini Cooper is a sweet guy, young, and engaging guy. Wiggly with his people, this guy is happy to be safe and in a loving foster home. He is happily lapping up as much attention as possible from his handlers. Having been through so much over the last month, Mini Cooper is hoping for some consistency as he moves forward. He will thrive in a home with structure, routine, and leadership. We know he cannot wait to be in a forever home of his very own. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about Mini Cooper's past, but we do know his future is bright. Living in a household may be a new, but very welcome adventure for Mini Cooper. He is hoping for a family that will be patient while he adjusts to the routines and expectations of the household. Training will go a long way with this handsome boy. Not only will training help Mini Cooper develop a strong and healthy bond with his forever family, but it will also help him develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen.

Mini Cooper is looking for a loving household that will fill his days with adventures and his night with cuddles. This boy deserves a home that will cherish him for a lifetime. Could that home be with you?

Description

Aspen is a senior MAGSR alumni. Her amazing mom welcomed her as a senior into her family and planned on ensuring that she lived out her lifes in the comfort, peace, and security of her home. However, when her mom passed away suddenly, this amazing girl found herself in need of a new home. Aspen was her mom's heart; she loved her beyond words. Knowing she would want them to have a place to grieve, rest, and find comfort, we welcomed Aspen back to the MAGSR family.

Although she has seen her fair share of loss, Aspen is sweet, friendly, and loving. Aspen is social, friendly, and joyful. She brings happiness to everyone she meets.

Updates:
Aspen is such a sweet gem of a girl. She loves affection from people, and gets so excited to be around anyone and everyone. Having clearly been showered with love and affection throughout her life, Aspen loves to return this gift as often as possible. She is a low key kind of girl who enjoys getting to lounge around in her dog bed or going for short walks around the yard. A big fan of the outdoors, Aspen will even get a spunky pep in her step every now and then when outside. When hanging out with her people, Aspen is always willing and ready to accept a good back scratching and ear rubbing from anyone who offers. This lovely lady simply can't pass on a little extra attention. In previous homes, Aspen lived with dogs. This trend has continued with her incredible foster family. Currently living with two dogs, Aspen has remained easy going and has done well when interacting with them. She also hasn’t paid much mind to the cats when they are around and is likely good with cats.  As Aspen is enjoying her golden years, it may take her a little longer to comply with commands. However, she will happily sit down to take treats and knows basic commands. She may not get around as fast as in her younger days, but Aspen still persists. She is determined to get where she is going even if it takes her a little longer. Although Aspen has seen a lot of changes throughout her life and moved about more often than we would have hoped, she has maintained her sweet, affectionate, and stable personality. She is looking for a loving home that will cherish her throughout her golden years giving plenty of pets, scratches, and giving her daily opportunities to enjoy the fresh air. If Aspen sounds like the right match for your household, ask to meet this lovely lady today!

Description

Sweet Snow was pulled from an overcrowded shelter over a year ago by another rescue. She had given birth in the shelter and was kept there while the puppies still needed her. However, once the pups were old enough they were adopted and Snow was left behind. As is true for entirely too many mommies in shelters, once the puppies found forever homes Snow was added to the list to be euthanized. Puppies, when healthy, often find their way home, but older family members are left behind. With shelter numbers in the critical ranges everywhere, this means many of the moms and dads left behind do not make it out alive.

Fortunately, another rescue stepped forward just in time and saved Snow's life. They walked her through heartworm treatment and got Snow all of the vetting she needed to meet with success. Although they thought they had found the perfect home for this pretty girl, unfortunately, she was returned when a serious medical condition was discovered with her adopter. Knowing Snow would be most successful with a breed specific rescue, we were asked to transfer Snow into our care. Knowing this special momma was the right fit for the MAGSR family, our team welcomed her without a second thought.

Snow is an adorable girl. Happy, playful, and a bundle of joy, Snow keeps our volunteers smiling from ear to ear. Well socialized with people and clearly comfortable having been exposed to other dogs, this momma has an amazing personality that she can't wait to share with her forever family. True of so many shepherds, Snow reads the handler well. With clear routines, expectations, and leadership, this lady settles in nicely. Having lived in a home, Snow understands many of the ins and outs of living in a home. However, as is true of all new dogs, Snow will need time and patience to adjust to her forever family. Training will be essential to her success. Not only will training help Snow develop a strong and healthy bond with her forever family, it will also help her gain the skills needed to become a good canine citizen.

Snow is looking for a forever family that enjoys a nice balance of daily playtime and a good snuggle. If Snow is the right match for your family, ask to meet her today.

Updates:
Snow has settled in and a personality has emerged. She's energetic, loves playing fetch both indoors and out.  Drops the tennis ball at your feet.  Knows basic commands. Indoors fetch she leapt the 3 stairs from den to mudroom. Spends a fair bit of the day in her crate, door open. So far we only closed crate door couple times - we went to an O's game on Friday. She sleeps in our BR sometimes, on one of the pup throw rugs. She's dropped a few pounds with all her new activity and is working her way to her ideal weight. She would be a great addition to home, might that be your home? Really sweet, follows us around. Comfortable on stairs.

Description

Star and her sister, Noel, were born into a loving household. They lived there happily with another member of their family. Although the girls were cherished, when an unexpected circumstance arose, Star and Noel needed to be rehomed. This was a devastating decision for their family. Hoping they could find them a home on their own, they exhausted resource after resource trying to find an option for the girls. With a system overloaded with dogs and the need to find safe options for both girls, their family had almost given up hope. With one last try, they turned to MAGSR. Recognizing these girls were something special, our team came together to ensure that Star and Noel could move forward safely in the MAGSR family.

Star and Noel are stunning girls. Both a little unsure with new people and in new situations, they need a little time to adjust. When given time, patience, and a safe surrounding, the girls warm up to new people nicely. Having lived with an older child, the Star and Noel would likely do well with calm and respectful children. Star is the more energetic of the girls. She is always ready for a little play time and can often be caught bouncing around with a favorite toy. Star is looking for a household that will support her love for playtime and adventures. She wants to please and will be the "Star" at training. Training is critical to her success. Not only will training help Star develop a healthy bond with her forever family, but it will also help her build the confidence needed to become a good canine citizen. Having lived in a loving home, Star understands many of the ins and outs of living in a household. She is crate trained and housebroken. However, as is true of all GSDs, she will need time to adjust to the rules and expectations of her forever family. Star is looking for a forever family that will cherish her goofy spirit for a lifetime. If she sounds like the right match for your household, ask to meet Star today!
