Yellowstone is one of the Nature puppies. He and his siblings - Rocky, Alpine, and Aravalli are little survivors. They were transferred from another rescue into our care. Unfortunately, after their arrival the entire litter broke with parvo. Puppies are highly susceptible to this disease even if they have had their first set of shots. Fortunately, the Nature puppies were in good hands and able to fight. Many members of this litter survived. 

Having survived parvo, Yellowstone is a super puppy. He cannot ever contract this disease again. Ready to move onto a life of love, cuddles, and playtime, Yellowstone is excited to meet his forever family. Tau is one of the Greek puppies. He and his siblings - Zeta, Delta, and Kappa are little survivors. They arrived in MAGSR's care after their owner surrendered them to a shelter as the litter had all contracted parvo. Having no vaccines on board already, underweight, and lacking some basic care, these pups needed to fight and fight hard to survive. Unfortunately, three of Tau's litter mates were unable to overcome this horrifying disease.

Sienna was found as a stray in a busy city and sadly no one came to claim her, She is young and playful and did well with other dogs. Sienna is a people pleaser and loves to socialize once comfortable.  Although a little confused as to what all was happening to her, Sienna joined the MAGSR family and has never looked back. Throughout the rescue Sienna is known to be a charmer. Her bouncy, alert, and attentive personality are an immediate draw to everyone around her. 

Sadly, we have learned that she is heartworm positive. This diagnosis could have been avoided if she had been  provided with monthly heartworm preventatives. Sienna has already begun her heartworm treatment and is doing well. The cost of Sienna's entire treatment will be covered by MAGSR. Treatment is expensive, but Sienna is clearly more than worth the cost. Please consider donating  toward Sienna's treatment. Your generosity will help us save her and other dogs with medical needs. Although Sienna will need to take it slow over the next few months, she will be back to full strength once her treatment is finished. Karl was a stray who was picked up and brought to a shelter. Upon arrival it was evident to the shelter staff that Karl was a special guy. He easily won the hearts of shelter staff. Although playful and affectionate, Karl struggled with anxiety in the shelter environment. This is very common for German Shepherds and many other guardian breeds. Recognizing that Karl needed his best chance and finding his forever home, the shelter contacted MAGSR and the rest is history. 

Karl is a handsome guy. He interacts well with dogs and other people. However, he does need slow introductions to new people and situations. Karl's forever family will need to follow a two to three week shut down when he joins their family. This will provide Karl with the opportunity to slowly adjust to his new home. Patience and structure will help Karl learn household routines and settle in more effectively.
