Adopted MAGSR Dogs

Adorable Ryker and his sister Rayleigh were surrendered to MAGSR when their owner could not afford to care for them. Both pups were in need of some extra TLC when they arrived; however, our incredible network of volunteers was able to get them everything they needed. They are cuddly and playful pups who bring smiles and laughter wherever they go.  

Although Ryker is an absolute joy, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance and training, Ryker will develop into the good canine citizen we know he is destined to become. 

Sweet Rayleigh and her brother Ryker were surrendered to MAGSR when their owner could not afford to care for them. Klaus is a handsome and friendly guy who has survived years of neglect and abuse. Fortunately, another rescue was able to intervene and bring Klaus into their care. This life changing event made all the difference for this energetic guy. Recognizing that Klaus would have his best chance at finding the forever home in another region, Klaus was transferred to MAGSR. Although we are still getting to know Klaus, it is clear that even with all the suffering he has endured that he is a good dog. As is true of any dog, Klaus will thrive in a stable household that will provide him with love, guidance, consistency and leadership. Unfortunately, Bella's owner passed away unexpectedly. As there was not a family member able to care for Bella, she was instead taken to a shelter where she waited for someone to adopt her. When no one came to adopt her, the shelter that was taking care of Bella reached out to MAGSR. We immediately welcomed her into the MAGSR family. 

Bella is a sweet girl who is good with other dogs. However, she has been through a significant amount of change in such a short period of time. As a result, we are giving Bella time to decompress and adjust to her new life. Fortunately, Bella moved directly into a loving foster home that is giving her the time to adjust. Goofy and his siblings - Goose, Grace, and Ginger - were confiscated from a puppy mill operation. They are all emaciated and in need of positive interaction. The shelter that confiscated this little family knew that these dogs would need extra support in order to find their forever homes. When MAGSR got the call to take them in, we started putting plans in place to meet their needs.

Although they have survived a horrible situation, Goofy and his siblings are very loveable dogs. Definitely a little skittish, these dogs will excel with patience, leadership, and positive experiences. Goofy is a friendly guy who appreciates gentle but confident handling. He leans in for affection and has easily won over the hearts of our volunteers. We look forward to getting to know Goofy over the next few weeks. Lucy is one of Macy's survivor puppies. Just like her mom, Lucy is a survivor in more ways than one. She was one of the three puppies out of a litter of five that survived the dreaded parvo - Lu,Casey and Lacy - had the help of many people to arrive safely in MAGSR's care. This precious butterball will wiggle her way right into your heart in no time flat.

She was one of the three puppies out of a litter of five that survived the dreaded parvo - Lacy,Casey and Lucy - had the help of many people to arrive safely in MAGSR's care. Loki's family loved him dearly; however, due to some unforeseen circumstances, they found themselves unable to provide him with the attention and care he deserves. As a result, Loki's family made the difficult decision to surrender him to MAGSR. We have promised Loki's family that we will find him a safe and loving household. 

Loki is a young and energetic shepherd. Friendly and still puppy-like, he is learning to look to the handler for direction. As is common with most shepherds, Loki thrives with structure and leadership. A household that can provide him with routine and direction will help him gain confidence and develop into a stable adult. Loki will benefit greatly from training; this will not only help him bond to his forever family but it will also help him become a good canine citizen. Although Loki has lived with other dogs, cats, and children, he will need time to adjust to his new circumstances. If Loki sounds like a good match for your household, ask to meet him today. 

Lovely little Casey is one of Macy's puppies. Just like her amazing mom, Casey is a survivor in more ways than one. This sweet and goofy girl will bring you endless smiles. 

Casey is an adorable girl and is fortunate to have the sweetness and ability to survive just like her mother. This playful girl brings smiles to everyone around her.

Sherman was a stray who was brought into a local shelter. When no one came to claim this handsome guy, MAGSR decided to step in to help him find his forever home. Due to Sherman's circumstances, we don't have a lot of information regarding how he does in a household or how he interacts with kids or cats. However, we do know that Sherman is a strong, playful guy. He is a big fan of toys and will happily play with his people. Although he can be non-reactive around other dogs, he can be a little pushy when first meeting new dogs and will need to be given time to be introduced properly. Sherman is looking for a home that will help him further develop into the good canine citizen we know he can be. Please watch for updates as we get to know Sherman.
