Sir Albert and his siblings were part of an accidental litter. His family loved him greatly and took good care of him and his siblings. However, as the puppies grew older, it became difficult to take care of so many dogs. Recognizing that Sir Albert and his siblings would be better able to receive the care and attention they deserved if they were re-homed, Sir Albert's owner made the difficult decision to surrender the group of siblings to MAGSR. We promised that we would find each member of the family safe and loving forever homes.
Sir Albert is a love. He was well socialized in his home with kids and other dogs. However, his family struggled to find time to socialize him in the community. As a result, Sir Albert can be a little timid with new people and in new places. Given time, patience, and guidance, Sir Albert will develop the confidence he needs outside of the household. Just like any young dog, Sir Albert will thrive with structure, routine and training. Training will help him to not only bond with his new family but also develop into the stable adult we know he is destined to be. If Sir Albert sounds like the right match for your household, please ask to meet him today.

Sally and her Cars Puppies were rescued in the south by another group. As they wanted to do right by this lovely family, they began reaching out to other groups who would be able to support the family until they were ready to find forever homes of their own. When asked to welcome this family into the MAGSR family, we immediately said yes.
Chip Gearings is a bundle of energy and joy. He is cute as a button and brings happiness to everyone around him. Well socialized in his foster home, Chip Gearings is a match for a household with kids, cats, or other dogs. Although Chip Gearings' foster family has given him an excellent start, it is imperative that his new family continues to keep Chip Gearings well socialized. This will help him develop into a stable adult. Although Chip Gearings is absolutely adorable, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics, they get into things, and they will chew on inappropriate items. With time, patience, and training, Chip Gearings will develop into the good canine citizen that we know he is destined to become. If this little guy sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet him today.

ig Mama's family surrendered her to a shelter in the south. Confused by this massive change in her life, Big Mama was very unsure when she first entered the shelter. Recognizing that Big Mama needed a safe place to decompress and find a family that would commit to her for a lifetime, a rescue plea was sent out.
Big Mama is a beautiful and energetic young girl. She is curious, playful, and adventurous. As is true of many young dogs, Big Mama will thrive in an environment with structure and routine. Isa and her siblings - Adira, Knox, and Beckett - were dumped on a country road. Emaciated and clearly lacking care, these babies needed help and fast. When a kind member of the community discovered what had happened to the puppies, they moved quickly to help these babies find safety. Recognizing that these little orphans would have their best chance at finding safe and loving forever homes with a rescue, a plea for help went out.
Isa is a love. Having the benefit of recuperating in a foster home, she has had the opportunity to start learning about the comforts of living in a home. Her foster household has also taken the important step of beginning to socialize her with other people, dogs, and situations. Continued socialization is critical to Isa's success as she grows. Although Isa is a doll, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics, they get into things, and they will chew on inappropriate items. With time, patience, and training, Isa will develop into the good canine citizen we know she is destined to become. If this little girl sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet her today.

D.W.'s family abandoned her in a culvert. Fortunately, an amazing family heard her cries and rescued her. Although they quickly recognized that D.W. is a very special girl, they knew that she needed a family that could provide her with the time and attention she deserved. As a result, they started reaching out to the rescue community for help. Fortunately, the right people heard of D.W.'s need and contacted MAGSR. The rest is history.
D.W.'s first two years likely lacked the structure, consistency, and attention that all shepherds crave. Fortunately, once in MAGSR's care, D.W. was placed in an amazing foster home that worked with her on a daily basis. Living with a pack of dogs of varied ages and sizes, D.W. had the opportunity to begin developing social skills in a controlled manner. Additional opportunities to socialize in a wide variety of environments were also provided. This has helped D.W. more effectively interact with new people in a variety of situations. Although D.W. is moving forward with a solid foundation of skills, it will be necessary that her new family continue to work with her to further support her social skills with humans and dogs. D.W. is a lovely and active dog. She will thrive in a household that will exercise both her body and her mind on a daily basis. Training is an essential next step for D.W. as it will not only help her bond to her forever family but it will also help her develop into a stable and confident canine citizen. If D.W. sounds like the right match for your household, ask to meet this special girl today.
