Sally and her Cars Puppies were rescued in the south by another group. As they wanted to do right by this lovely family, they began reaching out to other groups who would be able to support the family until they were ready to find forever homes of their own. When asked to welcome this family into the MAGSR family, we immediately said yes.
Mater is a bundle of energy and joy. He is cute as a button and brings happiness to everyone around him. Well socialized in his foster home, Mater is a match for a household with kids, cats, or other dogs. Although Mater's foster family has given him an excellent start, it is imperative that his new family continues to keep Mater well socialized. This will help him develop into a stable adult. Although Mater is absolutely adorable, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics, they get into things, and they will chew on inappropriate items. With time, patience, and training, Mater will develop into the good canine citizen that we know he is destined to become. If this little guy sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet him today.

Lovely Nova was brought into rescue after being pick-up as a stray. Although she did well with her foster family, it was felt that Nova would have her best chance at finding her forever home in another region. When asked if we could help Nova move forward, we were happy to step up.
Prior to her arrival at MAGSR, Nova was very fortunate to have landed in a loving foster family who was very experienced with the breed and excited to help her. While living in her foster home, Nova was provided with the structure, routine and guidance that all GSDs crave. Living with dogs, kids, and a dog savvy cat, Nova benefited greatly from regular socialization with a variety of people and other animals. She is looking for a forever home that will continue to provide her with these opportunities in a safe and structured manner. Nova will thrive in a household that will help her exercise both her body and mind on a daily basis. Training will be key as Nova moves forward as it will not only help her bond with her new family but it will also help her develop into a good canine citizen. If Nova sounds like a match for your household, ask to meet this sweet girl today.

Handsome Orion and his siblings - Annisa and Kiernan - arrived in MAGSR's care after being transferred from another rescue. They have clearly been well cared for and are waiting patiently for their forever homes. As these babies were living in a foster home prior to arrival, they have already begun to develop their social skills with people and other animals. It is essential that their new families continue this process as it will help them develop into stable and confident adults. Orion is your typical puppy - adventurous, wiggly, and playful. Recognizing that toys provide endless fun, Orion happily moves from one toy the next for entertainment. Although Orion is a joy, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics, they get into things, and they will chew on inappropriate items. With time, patience, guidance and training, Orion will develop into the good canine citizen that we know he is destined to become. MIlo and another puppy were dumped on the side of the road in the south. Skinny, scared, and clearly not well cared for, Milo and his buddy needed help and fast. Fortunately, these babies were noticed by a passerby and brought to safety. Although he has been through a lot in his short life, Milo remains sweet and social.
Milo is a sweet and interactive boy. He is enjoying the comforts of good food, a soft bed, and a loving family. Recognizing that Milo would need opportunities to socialize with people and other animals, his foster family has been working hard to start this vital process. Socializing with dogs, kids, cats, and people, Milo is quickly learning that people are kind. As socialization is critical for puppies, Milo's forever family will need to continue this practice as it will help him develop into a stable adult dog. Although Milo is a love, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics, they will whine, they get into things, and they will chew on inappropriate items. With time, patience, guidance, and training, Milo will develop into the good canine citizen that we know he is destined to be. If this little boy sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet him today!

Lovely Macy was picked up as a stray with her little family in a busy city. Recognizing that sweet Macy deserved to live a life of comfort and love, the shelter staff made a rescue plea for Macy. MAGSR stepped in to help Macy.
Macy is a sweetheart that quickly wins over the hearts and minds of everyone she meets. A constant source of tail wags and joy, Macy couldn't have a kinder personality. Although we know that Macy is an incredible girl, we have learned that she is heartworm positive. This diagnosis could have been avoided if she has been properly cared for and provided with monthly heartworm preventatives. Macy has begun her heartworm treatment and is doing well. The cost of Macy's entire treatment will be covered by MAGSR. Treatment is expensive, but Macy is clearly well worth the cost. Please donate toward Macy's treatment, your generosity will help us save her and other dogs with medical needs. Although Macy will need to take it slow over the next few months, she will be back to full strength once her treatment is finished. If your household can provide the love and comfort that Macy deserves, ask to meet her today.
