Adopted MAGSR Dogs

Erica was picked up in the south and brought to a local shelter. Shelter staff immediately fell in love with this delightful girl and started pleading for a rescue placement. Fortunately, we were able to step forward and welcome this lovely girl into the MAGSR family.

Erica is the definition of gentle giant. She is easy to walk on leash and friendly with everyone she meets. Erica rides well in the car but is still learning the best way to get up into larger vehicles. We are still getting to know this big, beautiful girl and will post updates soon. Lizzo is a survivor. After using her for puppies, Lizzo's owner decided that owning her wasn't advantageous anymore. As a result, he gave her away to  someone in the community who left her outside to roam. Without proper care, housing, or food, Lizzo began wandering about the community. Although it was unsafe, Lizzo started regularly running through town to return to her previous residence where a furry friend still resided. Fortunately, a good Samaritan became aware of Lizzo's suffering and was able to arrange for Lizzo to be released to a local rescue in the south. Recognizing that Lizzo would have her best chance at finding the forever home in another region, she was transferred to MAGSR. Although we are still getting to know Lizzo, it is clear that even with all the suffering she has endured that she is an incredible dog. As is true of any dog, Lizzo will thrive in a stable household that will provide her with love, guidance and leadership. As we have the opportunity to learn more about Lizzo, we will post updates. Alpine is one of the Nature puppies. She and her siblings - Yellowstone, Rocky, and Aravalli are little survivors. They were transferred from another rescue into our care. Unfortunately, after their arrival the entire litter broke with parvo. Puppies are highly susceptible to this disease even if they have had their first set of shots. Fortunately, the Nature puppies were in good hands and able to fight. Many members of this litter survived. 

Having survived parvo, Alpine is a super puppy. She cannot ever contract this disease again. Ready to move onto a life of love, cuddles, and playtime, Alpine is excited to meet her forever family. As a young pup, structure, routine and guidance will make all the difference in Alpine's life. Although Alpine is a honey, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance, and training, Alpine will develop into the good canine citizen we know she is destined to become. Kappa is one of the Greek puppies. She and her siblings - Zeta, Tau, and Delta are little survivors. They arrived in MAGSR's care after their owner surrendered them to a shelter as the litter had all contracted parvo. Having no vaccines on board already, underweight, and lacking some basic care, these pups needed to fight and fight hard to survive. Unfortunately, three of Kappa's litter mates were unable to overcome this hoffiying disease. 

Having survived parvo, Kappa is a super puppy. She cannot ever contract this disease again. Ready to move onto a life of love, cuddles, and playtime, Kappa is excited to meet her forever family.
