Adopted MAGSR Dogs

Dana and her buddy, Dave, were found running loose in a rural area. The dogs were brought to a shelter where they waited to be claimed. Unfortunately, no one came for them and as time passed it seemed no one wanted this special pair. Dave and Dana are a bonded pair. They rely on one another for comfort and safety. They are looking for a home that has room for two. 

Dana is your typical energetic young shepherd. She's about 2 years old. Friendly and social this girl does seem to have begun learning basic manners. Dana arrived at the shelter emaciated but has been putting back on the much needed pounds with regular feedings. Inquisitive and playful, Dana enjoys the company of her people. Although found as a stray, Dana appears to have lived in a household prior to her arrival at MAGSR. She, like her buddy, is intelligent and attentive to her handler. Dana is looking for a family that will care for her and her pal Dave for a lifetime.

Tucker's family loved him greatly but felt that they could not provide him with the life he deserved. As a result, they made the difficult decision to surrender Tucker to MAGSR. Tucker is an incredible guy. Confident, playful, and very responsive to the handler, it is highly evident that Tucker's family worked hard to help him develop into a good canine citizen. As a fun-loving guy, Tucker greatly enjoys his time playing with a ball or stuffed toys. He will keep you entertained with his antics. Having previously lived in a household, Tucker is housebroken, crate trained, and understands many of the rules of a household. However, as is true for any new dog, he will need to adjust the structure of a new household. Having previously attended training classes, Tucker knows a variety of commands. Although this is a fantastic start, Tucker will need to attend training with his new family as it will help him develop a bond. *Update* Tasha’s fosters are thrilled that this precious girl is heartworm free!  She is looking for a forever home where she can enjoy company most of the day with hugs and head-to-head snuggling.  She’s a low to moderate energy GSD and is gentle in all ways.  While she has not shown much interest in other dogs, her fosters continue to work on her socialization skills.   She enjoys walks that give her opportunities to sniff and stroll and is not affected at all by other passing dogs.   Training also continues as we all work together on basic commands.

Tasha is a survivor. After being horribly neglected, she was dumped at a vet with her two pups where the entire family was to be euthanized. Fortunately, another rescue learned of this little family's plight and was able to save them in time. Tasha's puppies were able to find families quickly. However, Tasha needed some additional care as her body had endured significant neglect. 

With the help of another rescue, Tasha was nursed back to health. She received the medical care and kindness that this beautiful girl so clearly deserved. Although Tasha has experienced cruelty at the hands of people, she remains loving and attentive. She enjoys the comforts of a soft bed and head rubs. Precious little Joshua is one of Sheena's puppies. Just like his amazing mom, Joshua is a survivor. He and his seven siblings - Jacob, Joey, Jaycee, Jaxx, Jason, James, and Jazzmine - were removed from their home just in the nick of time. With several good samaritans along the way, this family made their way to the MAGSR family. 

Joshua is a sweetheart and is fortunate to have the kindness of his mother in him. This playful guy brings smiles to everyone around him. Although Joshua is an incredible boy, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things. With time, patience, guidance, and training, Joshua will develop into the good canine citizen he is destined to become.
