Bailey
ADOPTED 01/11/2020!
Good With Kids: Yes

Bailey was surrendered as her family had no time for her and it shows in her lack training and manners. She is such a beautiful, friendly girl that just needs a family to teach her good canine manners. A good training program will teach her jumping up is not acceptable and will also help with her leash skills. Given the opportunity, Bailey will crawl up into her human's lap for loving - she's very sweet. Bailey has some energy to burn that ong walks and a good a game of fetch will help with. Exercising both the body and brain will be very beneficial for her.
Updates:Bailey is a sweet girl and very dedicated to her humans. Bailey likes to be with her humans and will run up and down the stairs to be with each of her humans when they are on different levels of the house. Bailey is a happy go lucky dog and very good with kids. Bailey doesn't know many obedience commands yet but is eager to learn. Bailey is easy to walk, good on car rides, and is house trained – she likes sleeping on doggy beds. She loves belly rubs and attention. If you are looking for a best buddy, Bailey is the one, and she would make a great family dog.
Jasper
ADOPTED 01/08/2020!
Good With Kids: Unknown

Jasper was dumped by his former owner on a country road and picked up by animal control. When our volunteer picked him up from the shelter it was obvious he was not feeling well and not in great shape. He immediately went into medical boarding at one of our vets offices, where he received the best care. He had a severe respiratory and ear infection, hair loss with a skin infection and was not eating. All needed tests were performed and treatment was started. As time went on he was still not wanting to eat, radiographs were taken and it was found he had foreign objects in him. He was immediately taken to surgery where a number of assorted items were removed from his stomach.
After spending 3 weeks in medical boarding Jasper was able to go home with his foster. He is now on the mend, starting to eat on his own and finally wagging his tail some. He still needs to put on some more weight but his foster will be sure he never misses a much needed meal.
Through all of this he has been nothing but sweet and friendly. Jasper is now looking for his forever family, one that will treat him with care and love him for his lifetime. He is ready to leave his past behind and looks forward to a future of living in a home, proper nutrition, walks, playtime and lots of cuddles from his humans.
Updates:Jasper is doing great in his foster home and loves his foster parents. He is such a sweet boy who has come a long way since he came into the rescue. He went from not wanting to eat to sitting and eagerly waiting for his food. Jasper has a great appetite now and has put on some much-needed weight since his surgery. He loves everyone he meets and loves getting attention from everyone too (he’s so darn handsome and friendly, why wouldn’t anyone not want to give this boy some attention). Jasper likes his doggie beds, and if allowed, he’ll get up in the human bed too. Jasper is housebroken and crate trained, and he really loves to go for car rides. Jasper loves his Nylabone, although, his humans must be very careful in the toys selected for him due to his history, and he’s only allowed to have them when supervised. If this lovable handsome boy sounds like a fit for your family, check out his profile and ask to meet Jasper – he just might have a kiss waiting for you.
Willow
ADOPTED 01/05/2020!
Good With Kids: Yes
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Willow came to us an owner surrender as her person is going through a difficult time. She is much loved so her mom wanted the best for her. Willow lived with another female GSD. Willow is a young energetic girl who will require someone able to keep up with her energy. She also requires training to learn some manners and leash skills. She is strong and can easily pull someone down without being handled properly. We’ve been told she is good with children, but does have to be monitored due not knowing her size.
Regis
ADOPTED 01/04/2020!
Good With Kids: Yes, older kids

Regis was surrendered to a shelter as his family moved and could not take him with them. He is new to us so we are still getting to know him. He does best with female dogs and prefers them over male dogs. He loves belly rubs, rolling over on his back for a good scratching. Regis will benefit greatly from obedience training, learning good manners and what is expected of him.
Updates:
HI! My name is Regis and I LOVE BELLY RUBS! When people come over and start petting me, I roll right over to get some belly rubs! I love to make my rounds to all the volunteers when us dogs are being walked at the kennel to get my share of attention and belly rubs. But that's not my only super power - I walk well on a leash (they say I have a good 'heel', but I didn't know dogs had heels?) and tend to sit when my walker stops. I can sit, down, am working on stay, and I jump right in the car for a ride. It's fun to bark at the passing cars while riding, but I settle down when I'm told to and become a great riding companion! I'm a good boy with the vet, even when I'm not feeling so hot. They say I'm probably house trained, but I don't remember training any houses. They tell me how sweet I am and I love playing with other pups! I do have a little bit of a problem with fast hand movements, I get frightened and bark at them, but we're working on that too. I have tons of energy, and would love to try something like agility or nose work - they also say I have a great sniffer! I would just love to have a family of my own to love and cuddle with, could that family be yours?
Geist
ADOPTED 01/04/2020!
Good With Kids: Unknown

Geist is a male German Shepherd mix with a beautiful white coat. He is new to the rescue, but a super sweet guy. Geist is lovely with the female dogs, but not so great with male dogs. He's simply a nice fella that prefers the ladies to himself. Geist is good with humans and loving. Like all of our dogs, Geist will benefit from standard obedience work to help him be the best gentleman he can be.
