Beethoven
ADOPTED 01/03/2019!
Good With Kids: Yes
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Beethoven is one of 22 dogs from the Carolina's that needed help due to Hurricane Florence.
Beethoven is a furry friendly guy who is looking for his forever home and family. With all of the stress and changes he has been gone through and a long transport to our care, he has handled it well. As he is new to us we will continue to get to know him better and post updates.
Updates:Unfortunately, Beethoven tested heartworm positive when seen by MAGSR's vet. This could have been avoided had he been kept on monthly heartworm preventatives. Beethoven is in the beginning stages of his heartworm treatment, which of course MAGSR will pay for his entire treatment. Treatment is expensive, but Beethoven is certainly worth the cost. Donations towards his treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs. He will have to take it slow for the next few months while he undergoes treatment, so lots of rest will be in order.
Mo
ADOPTED 01/01/2019!
Good With Kids: Unknown
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Mo was returned to MAGSR as his person was not able to provide a safe environment for him. He was allowed outside without a fenced in area and without being on a leash, so yes he would wander off. Well this happy, friendly, playful boy is back in the safety of our care and is now looking for a family who will keep him safe. A fenced yard in not required to adopt from us, but without one Mo would need to be leashed walked and not allowed to wander around on his own. Everyone who picked Mo up while wandering around town said he is the friendliest, happy go lucky boy. He needs training, he needs direction from his family, he needs structure and he needs lots of play time, exercise, walks and love.
Braggs
ADOPTED 12/30/2018!
Good With Kids: Unknown
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Braggs was surrendered to a shelter as his former person said he worked too much, not having enough time to care for Braggs. Former owner said that he is good with dogs, cats and children. We have yet to see him interact with children and cats. He is a friendly boy, young and playful. Of course he needs to attend training classes to learn good manners.
Dayse
ADOPTED 12/22/2018!
Good With Kids: Unknown
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Dayse was surrendered by her elderly former owner as she was too much dog for her. She also did not do well with the resident cats. Dayse is in need of training, manners, consistency and structure. She is a friendly girl that needs to learn jumping up to greet people is not acceptable.
Jasmine
ADOPTED 12/22/2018!
Good With Kids: Unknown
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Sweet Jasmine's former person passed away and she was surrendered to a shelter. She is a gorgeous and friendly girl that is confused with all of the changes in her life. She is settling nicely, doing well with our volunteers and did well meeting other dogs. Unfortunately we do not have much prior history on her. If you are looking for a stunning, regal, large girl to go for leisurely walks, curl up with while reading or watching television Jasmine is your girl.
