Rommie
ADOPTED 02/24/2017!
Good With Kids: Unknown
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Rommie made her to way us as a stray to a shelter. The shelter's worker said she is very sweet and did not have any accidents in her kennel. She would happily wait for them to come take her outside to go the bathroom. She is a beautiful GSD mix who is looking for a family that will love and care for her for her lifetime.
Updates:Rommie is settling nicely in to her foster home. Rommie's foster parents report she does great with the resident dogs, is a beautiful girl, very sweet and extremely loving dog who has lots of energy and loves her squeaky balls. She is so soft and so loving that she will make someone a great companion dog. In her foster home, she is working on crate training so she's ready for her new family.
Sadly, sweet Rommie tested heartworm positive when she was seen by a MAGSR vet, she obviously was not kept on monthly Heartworms Preventatives which would have protected her. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment to rid her body of Heartworms so that she may enjoy many more years of life. Treatment is expensive but Rommie is certainly worth the cost. Donations towards her treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs.
Rommie is waiting for her fur-ever family, so if you think she could be a good fit, please ask to meet her.
Xilli
ADOPTED 02/24/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Xilli along with her mate Fox were surrendered to us as their family was moving where dogs are not welcomed. They have lived together for most of their lives and we would like to find them a home together. Both are sweet, well mannered, laid back dogs. No more puppy mannerisms for these two distinguished Shepherds, they are looking for leisurely walks, hanging out with their people and enjoying the comforts of a nice bed. They lived in a home with 10 children of varying ages. They want nothing more than to have a home and family of their very own, hopefully together. If you have enough room in your hearts and home for both Fox and Xilli please ask to meet them.

Lexi
ADOPTED 02/20/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Lexi is a young girl who has had no training or guidance. She is not good with livestock or cats. Lexi is going to require slow, controlled introductions to other dogs. She met with 2 large male GSD's and after initially barking at them she settled down and wanted to play. She will require training, along with structure and guidance from her new family. Lexi is a high energy girl that requires daily exercise.
Ariella
ADOPTED 02/20/2017!
Good With Kids: Yes
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
This little girl is amazing and ever so sweet. Ariella previously lived in hoarding situation with 14 other dogs where she was underfed, with some past wounds and soon to be used for breeding. Despite all of what Ariella has been exposed to early on in her life, she is just stunning. Affectionate with everyone she has met, Ariella immediately warms up to new people. She gives kisses and little tail wags that light up a room. Now that Ariella has a warm and loving foster home, she has the opportunity to shine. Currently living with both kids and dogs, Ariella is adjusting well and is learning that she will receive regular meals, attention, and proper socialization. If Ariella sounds like the right dog for your household, please ask about her today.
Care for these hoarding rescues is putting a severe strain on MAGSR's resources. Donations towards their treatment would be greatly appreciated, this would also help us save other dogs with medical needs.
