Donovan
ADOPTED 01/15/2017!
Good With Kids: No
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Donovan came to us from shelter where he was taken to after being found outside in the freezing rain. His former person is bed-ridden and no longer able to care for him. Donovan is now living with one of our trainers, working on his manners and learning how to properly interact with other dogs. He is good with other dogs, but just needs to learn proper etiquette when introducing himself. Donovan just seems nervous and a little unsure of himself. He loves treats and will sit politely.
Donovan is a little underweight at 52 lbs, but does have a smaller frame.
Donovan will take a little time to adjust to a new family and home, but with patience and guidance he will make a great new family member
Updates:Donovan is a high energy boy that is completely obsessed with his ball and toys. He will do anything to find his ball and will not give up until it is found. He is also highly treated motivated which works for training. He is no couch potato and will require a person who will work with him daily to help burn off his energy. He is not suited for a home with children due to his energy level. He is young and has a lot to learn, training is an absolute must.
