Description

Ava cannot be any cuter and is absolutely a great little girl, happy go lucky and loves to give puppy kisses.  Ava was born to MAGSR’s Sophie after her arrival into MAGSR’s care.  Ava has a lot to learn about going a good canine citizen and will require training.  Please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family - puppies are a 10-12 year commitment.  Puppies are full of energy and can be mischievous – they will whine, have accidents, get into things, and chew on inappropriate things.  With time, patience, guidance and training, Ava will become even more of an amazing girl than she already is.  Please inquire if Ava sounds like a good match for your family. Available for adoption at 8 weeks old, December 28th!

Cinder

Adopted: 12/24/2016!

Gender: Female

Breed: German Shepherd Dog

Approximate Age: 1 year

Color: Black & Tan

Current Size: 65 lbs

Ideal/Potential Size:

Housebroken: Unknown

Obedience Trained: Yes

Living with: Kennel

History: Owner Surrender

Good with Kids: Yes, older kids

Good with Cats: Unknown

Other Dogs OK: Yes

Description

Cinder was surrendered due to circumstances beyond her control.  She is a beautiful, high energy girl that is continued training.  She successfully completed training with Off Leash K-9 but unfortunately her continued training and practice was not kept up.  Cinder is no couch potato, she is highly active and will require a family who can keep up with her and direct her energy.  She did live with smaller dogs which she did fine with unless their was a bone involved.  She does not like to be bothered when she has her bone.  There was no problems with food.  Cinder is not a dog for first time Shepherd owners and will require a family with experience with working line dogs.  Daily activity is a must as is ongoing training.  She would do well in agility or another type of job based activity like nose work.  A tired dog is a good dog.

Axel

Adopted: 12/24/2016!

Gender: Male

Breed: German Shepherd Mix

Approximate Age: 6 months

Color: Black & Tan

Current Size: 40 lbs

Ideal/Potential Size:

Housebroken: Yes

Obedience Trained: Working on it

Living with: Foster

History: Shelter

Good with Kids: Yes

Good with Cats: Unknown

Other Dogs OK: Yes

Description

Adorable, loving Axel found himself in a shelter hoping someone would save his life and that we did.  He is such a sweet boy, wanting to please his people and be part of a family.  Training of course is in order for Axel as he wants to learn all that he needs to know to be a good canine citizen.

Updates:
Axel's personality has surely come out now that he's in a foster home.  He's a spunky young guy.  Axel's foster parents are working with him on what is and is not allowed and he's learning some manners and basic commands.  Axel loves to run with his foster 4-legged brother so everyone is getting exercise.  Axel is not too fond of the crate yet, but he's also working on that in his foster home.  If you're looking for a energetic puppy, Axel may be a good fit.

Current Size: 67 lbs

Ideal/Potential Size:

Housebroken: Yes

Obedience Trained: Working on it

History: Shelter

Description

Bailey along with her brother Baxter found themselves at a shelter after they kept escaping an electric/invisible fence and chasing the cattle.  Hmmm, imagine that they are herding dogs after all.  They are obviously smart and knew what they were born to do.  They are very bonded so we are hoping that a family will have enough room and love to adopt them together.  They did well with children they met, but would prefer not to share their home or people with cats.  They are a very sweet pair.
