Devaine
ADOPTED 03/12/2016!
Good With Kids: Unknown

Devaine is a very good looking all black GSD. Somehow he found himself in a shelter with no one looking for him. He is now safe in our care looking for his forever family and home. He is friendly with people and other dogs, he has not been exposed to children or cats while in our care so we are not sure how he would do with them. Training of course will help Devaine settle into his new life, he will know what is expected of him and you of him.
Arlee

Arlee is a young, handsome Shusky who found himself lost and ended up in a shelter. He is now safe with us looking for his forever home and family. He is a blank slate ready to soak up all that training will teach him. He is a friendly and playful boy, with the energy to match his age. Lots of walks and playtime will help burn that energy.
Marky
ADOPTED 03/06/2016!
Good With Kids: Yes

Marky found himself in a shelter with a terrible case of demodex mange. Thankfully he was pulled and given the medical attention he needed. He is still recovering, but is making great strides. His fur is starting to grow back and his skin is beginning to heal. While he still has some healing to do, he looks much better than he did a few months ago. Marky is now enjoying the comforts of a foster home. He is a love bug, wanting to be cuddled up in your lap. If you are looking for a smaller than average GSD who will fill your life with joy then ask meet our sweet Marky.
Updates:Hi, my name is Marky (at least that is the name that they gave me). So what do I want you to know about me? I am a love bug puppy - seriously, loving. I love to cuddle and hangout with my person, but I also love to play and be active. I would love an active household who also wants to play, cuddle and go on long walks or runs with me. But don't worry, I do settle down nicely and respect boundaries that my person sets for me. I love people and dogs and haven't met anyone I do not like. I haven't been cat tested "officially" but I did meet one while at the vet and I didn't show particular interest in it. Birds on the other hand, they fascinate me (guess I set my sights high). As my earlier update mentioned, I had a really bad case of mange previously and had horribly infected and swollen paws. I can't even tell you how happy I am to be healing and feeling awesome. So thank you to everyone who donates to MAGSR to help doggies like me heal. My wounds are healing and the fur is growing in softer and better, and my paws are looking great – so I am starting to look as good as I am feeling! I would love a family to love me – who will be active, train me and cuddle with me. Please ask to meet me soon.
Maize
ADOPTED 03/06/2016!
Good With Kids: Yes

Maize is a beautiful female German Shepherd puppy who is 16 weeks old. Maize is highly treat motivated, loves toys especially balls, is crate trained, about 80% house-trained, not leash trained yet. Cute, wiggly, kissy, loving - all the good things that puppies are. Maize is still a puppy and will need a patient adopter and the full range of obedience training to make her the best dog she can be.
Updates: Candi
ADOPTED 03/05/2016!
Good With Kids: Unknown
Will you help them by donating or volunteering?
Candi has been on the loose for approximately 4 years after she got loose from her family. Candi came to MAGSR after MAGSR volunteers tracked her and captured her. Candi is understandably confused, skittish and very lucky! Since Candi has lived on the run for so many years, she will be considered a flight risk until MAGSR volunteers have time to work with her. Since her capture, Candi is doing well, but timid - little does she know that he is on her way, through MAGSR, to a new life. Please check back for updates on Candi as MAGSR gets to know her over the next couple of weeks.
Updates:Candi has been with us just over for a week now and we have learned a lot about her this week. She was actually out on her own for about 4 1/2 years. However, she has a sweet, gentle nature and likes other dogs. Though she is timid, she is learning that human contact is a good thing and is responding very well to us. She will climb in your lap, will take treats and is settling in nicely at the kennel where she currently resides. She will be a flight risk for some time to come and this cannot be overstated at this time. But on leash, she's willing to go where you request of her. Oddly enough, though she has been on her own for several years, she is showing signs of being house broken as she keeps her kennel run very clean. She would do well in a home with a well balanced dog that she can learn from. She will not get any bigger than what she is now at 25.5lbs. Though she is not your typical big, formidable looking shepherd, she has a lot of heart. She's a tough dog that made it through a lot of tough times and she deserves a family that will commit to her keeping her safe and loving her for the rest of her life.
