Woody comes to us under heartbreaking circumstances after his beloved dad passed away. He was deeply loved and well cared for, and it shows in his gentle spirit and joyful nature. Now, this handsome boy is looking for a new family who will not only love him for a lifetime but will also help him heal his broken heart. 

Woody is an impressive boy. He is incredibly social and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all breeds and sizes. He’s the kind of pup who can walk into any playgroup and make instant friends. Not all babies are born into loving homes where they have everything they need to thrive. Some start off well but things go south as they get a little older. Luckily cutiepie Archer Blaze and his sister, Nova Sol, were babies who knew kindness early on as they found themselves in another rescue at just ~8 weeks old. Recognizing that both siblings deserved a chance to move forward, this rescue began addressing their medical needs and looking for a breed-specific rescue to help them find the right home. When asked if we could welcome this guy into the MAGSR family, our team stepped forward and the rest is history. 

Archer Blaze is clearly a handsome young pup. A sweet boy who loves attention and playtime, this baby easily wins over the hearts of everyone he meets. With a solid understanding of toys and a zest for life, Archer Blaze fills his days with playtime, people time, doggy interactions, and endless cuddles. He is hoping his forever family will give him plenty of opportunities to continue to socialize. This is critical to his success as an adult GSD. Goose is one of those lucky pups whose life could have gone very differently — but thanks to a series of kind hearts and perfect timing, he's safe, loved, and ready for his forever home.

Goose’s journey started before he was even born. His mom, a stray in the South, was found starving and alone. Thankfully, an incredible family took her in, tried everything to find her original home, and when no one came forward, gave her the safety and love she so desperately needed. Just weeks later, she surprised everyone with eight beautiful puppies — Goose being one of them. Goose and his siblings were raised in a warm, loving home with their mom. One by one, his brothers and sisters found homes... and Goose waited. Knowing he deserved a bright future, the family reached out to MAGSR, and a wonderful foster family stepped in to help him take his next steps.

Goose is sweet, curious, and full of potential. He’s great with other dogs and is learning all about the comforts of home life: toys, treats, cozy beds, and couch cuddles. He’s had some exposure to new people and places, but continued socialization will be essential to helping him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult. Like all puppies, Goose will need time, training, and patience. He may chew, have accidents, or get into mischief — but with structure and love, he’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and affection.

Meet fabulous Frosty from the Winter Litter! This adorable baby is ready to find his forever family. The **Winter Litter—Tundra, Glacier, and Frosty—**joined the MAGSR family a few weeks ago after being rescued from a local cruelty and neglect situation. An advocate reached out to local law enforcement after discovering these puppies were living in conditions that were simply unimaginable. When they arrived, all three were severely emaciated, full of worms, missing patches of fur, and understandably unsure of new people. They urgently needed rescue placement to begin their journey toward safety and healing. Thanks to our incredible foster families, prescribed medications, structured feeding schedules, and strong veterinary support, all three puppies were welcomed into the safety of the MAGSR family.

Frosty is a loving, playful, and intelligent young pup who thrives when both his mind and body are engaged. Like many puppies who lacked early structure, Frosty has benefited greatly from an experienced foster home that has begun teaching him the ins and outs of living in a home environment. Crate training and housebreaking were first on the list, and Frosty has been doing a wonderful job learning these important skills.

Living in an established pack has also given Frosty the opportunity to learn appropriate social skills and understand pack structure—an essential foundation for his long-term success. With a strong desire to please and excellent food motivation, Frosty has begun learning basic expectations. Continued training and consistent opportunities to learn will help him grow into a confident, well-rounded canine citizen. While Frosty is undeniably adorable, it’s important to remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with endless puppy antics. With patience, consistency, and ongoing training, Frosty has all the potential to mature into a stable, confident adult dog.

Hey Everyone, 

I’m Stone, and I’ve had quite the "ruff" journey. After being picked up as a stray in the south, I made my way to the Mid-Atlantic so that I would have a real chance at a forever home at least that's what they told me. To be honest, I had been feeling a little lost and low; it just seemed like nothing was going my way. But, those days are behind me now, and I’m ready for my next chapter. I’m about four years old, up-to-date on all my vaccines, and loving life again. Especially, since I found my way to the MAGSR family. 

Although it's clear I am one handsome dude, I’m also a total social butterfly—I love people and always want to be part of the action. With what they say is a solid foundation of social skills, whatever that means, I get lots of opportunities to meet new people and dogs too. Sometimes, I even attend doggy daycare where I enjoy my time with a variety of doggy personalities. As a southern guy, I’m getting used to the colder weather up north, and I can’t wait to see my first snow! I just know I’m going to love it who wouldn't, right? Just like all shepherds, I’ll thrive with training and consistency, and I’m eager to learn and make my humans proud. Since I'm an active guy, I’ll do best in a home with a yard to play in, where I can stretch my legs, chase toys, and enjoy the sunshine.
