Zoey came to us with her mate Zeus, they are a bonded pair and we are hoping that a family has enough room in their hearts and homes for both of them.  They are a wonderful pair who enjoy each others company.  

They do require training which will help with their leash skills, it is obvious they have not been taught much.  

They have been friendly with all of those they have met.

Bear is a big handsome boy, he is good with other dogs and older children, due to his energy level he may accidentally knock little ones over.  

He has lived in home with his family for 2 years but is now looking for his forever home.  Bear has a lot of energy, he will require an active family.  

He is in need of training to learn leash and good manners.  

Unfortunately his family is going through some unsettling times, they felt it best that Bear be surrendered so that he could find a new family.  Please be sure when considering adopting that you are making a commitment for the lifetime of the dog.  Dogs should be part of your loving family and treated as such, they are not disposable.  
 

Reese along with her 11 five week old puppies were dumped at a shelter by their former family.  A very lucky day for them as now they are getting the proper care.  

Reese is very underweight, but with proper nutrition she is putting on weight and producing enough milk to feed all of her pups.

She was underfed, is missing the top half of her right ear, and has several wounds across her body. Despite all of what Diamond has endured, she is an amazing girl. Affectionate with everyone she has met, Diamond warms up quickly to new people. She gives kisses and little tail wags that light up a room. Now that Diamond has a warm and loving foster home, she has the opportunity to shine. Currently living with both cats and dogs, Diamond is adjusting well to pack life and is learning that she will receive regular meals, attention, and proper socialization. Ryder was found abandoned in a house with a Chihuahua after their family moved away and left them behind.  Ryder was underweight, but with good nutrition and regular meals he is gaining weight.  He is a young boy who has had no training or guidance.  He needs a family that will commit to his training, providing him with structure and direction so that he can be a well mannered boy.

Xilli along with her mate Fox were surrendered to us as their family was moving where dogs are not welcomed.  They have lived together for most of their lives and we would like to find them a home together.  Both are sweet, well mannered, laid back dogs.  No more puppy mannerisms for these two distinguished Shepherds, they are looking for leisurely walks, hanging out with their people and enjoying the comforts of a nice bed.   They  lived in a home with 10 children of varying ages.  They want nothing more than to have a home and family of their very own, hopefully together.  If you have enough room in your hearts and home for both Fox and Xilli please ask to meet them.

Lexi is a young girl who has had no training or guidance.  She is not good with livestock or cats.  Lexi is going to require slow, controlled introductions to other dogs.  She met with 2 large male GSD's and after initially barking at them she settled down and wanted to play.  She will require training, along with structure and guidance from her new family.  Lexi is a high energy girl that requires daily exercise.

Handsome Max came to MAGSR from a very sad situation. Shiloh was returned to us as his family is going through life altering changes and can no longer provide for him as needed. However, he was very much loved by them and he was very attached to them. Upon Shiloh's return, he showed signs of being reactive to strangers and protective of his family. He was also reactive to other dogs. However, he was very friendly, comfortable with and trusting of his family and their bond was evident. He is currently with a reputable trainer so that he can become better socialized and we will provide further updates as we get them from the trainer.

Adorable Simba found himself at a shelter.  He is a very handsome young pup who would love to have a family of his very own.  He will require a family that has the time and patience it takes to raise a young dog.  He will require training in order to learn good dog manners and to be a happy member of your family.

Blaze was surrendered to MAGSR as his family could no longer care for him.  Blaze was cared for and loved by his family, so he is understandably confused by his current situation.  Blaze is in the comforts of a foster home, has a comfy bed and lots of love – he is being very well cared for while he waits for his new family.  Blaze’s prior owners report he is house and crate trained, active and friendly, good with dogs, cats and kids.  Please ask to meet Blaze if he sounds like a good fit for your family!

Ginger was surrendered to us through no fault of her own. She was not abused or neglected. But unfortunately, her family did not have enough time for her. She's a very nice, confident, outgoing, beautiful girl who has a lot going for her! She's already had some obedience training, knows her basic commands in German and is crate trained. Her family reported that she was great with their young children and newborn child. She's an active and intelligent girl who loves to go for car rides and loves to play fetch with the ball. She would benefit from being in a home where she will have daily activity and exercise with a family that will commit to her for the rest of her life. We will provide further updates as we learn more about her.
