Solomon

Date of Death: October 16, 2026

I can’t believe I have to write this as I truly thought he was invincible. It is with profound sadness that I share Solomon has passed over to the rainbow bridge on 16 OCT 2026. This was extremely sudden as he woke up one morning very ill. I took him to the vet and we quickly learned he had Hemangiosarcoma. At ten years old, he never showed his age (physically or mentally). Solomon and I loved doing meets and greets together and sharing how we learned about the rescue through a meet and greet (thanks Kathy and Dave). Solomon is my soul dog and my better half. He got me through some of the most difficult times of my life. He was my guardian and my shadow. He was also the best hiking partner as he would pull me up some big mountains. Wherever I went, he would follow. Solomon leaves behind three members of his pack Caly, Pemi, and Stevie as well as his feline companion Luna. He is immensely missed. Thank you Magsr to bringing me the love of my life. Solomon showed me what unconditional love is. I am so lucky he came into my life into 2018 and we were able to have 8 beautiful years to make memories.
