DESCRIPTION:

Annika was returned to MAGSR's care after incidents with the other dog of the household, as well as the cat. She will be looking for a forever family where she can be the sole animal in the home to be the center of attention.

Annika is a beautiful young adult with a big personality. She is extremely intelligent and observant of her environment. She also forms strong bonds with her humans and is very affectionate. Annika will be protective of the house once she sees it as her place. She will thrive with a confident handler and structured training to bring out her potential, because she lives for meaningful interactions with her people. She is active and a jumper, and may be a candidate for agility training or other activities that engage her intelligence.

She loves tummy rubs and affection, walks, and interactive games. She learns quickly when pepperoni treats are on hand, and will even play a good game of hide and seek the treat. Annika likes her crate and is fully house trained. She walks well on the leash, learns commands quickly, loves car rides and exploring new environments like trails and parks.

If sweet Annika sounds like the right match for your family, please ask to meet her today.

Updates:

Annika continues to practice and learn commands - including sit, stay, lie down, go to bed (she runs into her crate), go find (hide and seek treats), and when waiting for the walk signal at intersections she’ll sit with a snap of the fingers. With a few taps to your shoulder she’ll snuggle up and fall asleep. She loves her humans and is forever ready for a walk, demonstrating excellent leash walking manners (until a squirrel crosses her path, but who could blame her for wanting to catch one?). She has no problem meeting other dogs on walks, she simply doesn’t wish to live with them. Annika is thoroughly house trained, staying at home for hours on her own snoozing on the couch until it’s time to greet you at the door with eager tail wags.

JaxinJaxinJaxin
Gender: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Approximate Age: 8 years 5 months
Color: Black & Tan
Current Size: 80 lbs
Ideal/Potential Size: 80 lbs
Housebroken: Yes
Obedience Trained: Working on it
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Yes
Good With Cats: Unknown

DESCRIPTION:

Jaxin's family loved him dearly. However, due to circumstances beyond their control, they needed to find him a new home. Although this was a very difficult decision, they knew it was in Jaxin's best interest to rehome him. We promised that we would find Jaxin a safe and loving forever home that would help him move forward.

Jaxin is a big, beautiful guy. Having lived with littles, Jaxin is very comfortable with babies and toddlers. He was often found snuggling with them in his previous household. He is also a big fan of furry company and will likely be most successful with a female dog for companionship. As a strong and intelligent guy, Jaxin will benefit from training. This will not only help him bond to his new family but it will also help him develop the skills and training he needs to become a good canine citizen. If Jaxin sounds like the right match for your household, ask to meet him today.

Current Size: 10 lbs
Housebroken: No, I'm a puppy!
Obedience Trained: No, I'm a puppy!

DESCRIPTION:

Sally and her Cars Puppies were rescued in the south by another group. As they wanted to do right by this lovely family, they began reaching out to other groups who would be able to support the family until they were ready to find forever homes of their own. When asked to welcome this family into the MAGSR family, we immediately said yes.

Jackson Storm is a bundle of energy and joy. He is cute as a button and brings happiness to everyone around him. Well socialized in his foster home, Jackson Storm is a match for a household with kids, cats, or other dogs. Although  Jackson Storm's foster family has given him an excellent start, it is imperative that his new family continues to keep Jackson Storm well socialized. This will help him develop into a stable adult. Although Jackson Storm is absolutely adorable, please remember that puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of attention from their family. Puppies are full of puppy antics, they get into things, and they will chew on inappropriate items. With time, patience, and training, Jackson Storm will develop into the good canine citizen that we know he is destined to become. If this little guy sounds like the right match for your family, ask to meet him today.

Baby Girl

ADOPTED 05/31/2021!

Baby GirlBaby GirlBaby GirlBaby GirlBaby Girl
Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd Mix
Approximate Age: 5 years 6 months
Color: Black & Tan
Current Size: 47 lbs
Housebroken: Unknown
Obedience Trained: No
Altered: Yes

Good With Kids: Yes
Good With Cats: Yes
Other Dogs OK: Yes
DESCRIPTION:

Baby Girl and her siblings were part of an accidental litter. Her family loved her greatly and took good care of her and her siblings. However, as the puppies grew older, it became difficult to take care of so many dogs. Recognizing that Baby Girl and her siblings would be better able to receive the care and attention they deserved if they were rehomed, Baby Girl's owner made the difficult decision to surrender the group of siblings to MAGSR. We promised that we would find each member of the family safe and loving forever homes.

Baby Girl is a sweetheart. She was well socialized in her home with kids and other dogs. However, her family struggled to find time to socialize her in the community. As a result, Baby Girl can be a little timid with new people and in new places. Given time, patience, and guidance, Baby Girl will develop the confidence she needs outside of the household. Just like any young dog, Baby Girl will thrive with structure, routine and training. Training will help her to not only bond with her new family but also develop into the stable adult we know she is destined to be. If Baby Girl sounds like the right match for your household, please ask to meet her today.
