Success Stories
This is what we are all about.
When we place a dog in a great home, everyone in the rescue is elated. Nothing feels better than helping our dogs on their journey to find a forever home where they can love and be loved. We thank every one of our adoptive families for opening their hearts and homes to our dogs.

Chance (fka Rourke) has been a wonderful addition to our family. His favorite things are playing with his Jolly Ball, keeping our yard free of squirrels, snuggling on the couch with his kids and hanging out with his brother Henry. Chance could really not be any sweeter! We are very blessed to have found him.
Ellie has turned into a beautiful sweet girl. When we got her she was scared of everything. Fear aggressive. We have had her for 17 months now and she is a very happy safe girl. She is super attached to her sister, Stella. As long as she is with her, her anxiety is at bay. She is very protective of me. We found out through DNA testing that she is 25% Grey Wolf. She LOVES to counter surf, but we have finally outsmarted her ;) This goofy girl is loved by everyone that knows her. She has been a perfect fit in our house J
Kobi is a great dog! He is our first rescue, and I will definitely rescue again. He has been so perfect for us. I initially wanted a young dog (puppy to a year old or so) so that we could train the way we wanted, name, etc. BUT now after having Kobi who was either 4/5 years when we got him (you guys were unsure of his age), I would highly recommend an older dog! We never dealt with any of the typical puppy issues, he's never gone to the bathroom in the house, he's never chewed on anything, he's so chill. I just love him! He's my buddy, and he makes me smile every day! He follows me closely ALL the time. He makes me feel safe and my boys too. He's handsome and sweet. And, he's a great part of our family!
Myla (Adopted 7/22/2016) is our sweet fur baby. We spoil her like a child and we love coming home to her wagging tail, and love cuddling on the couch. Myla absolutely loves swimming in the water and rolling around in the snow. She's like going on car rides with us and never wants to be left behind! We're so glad she chose us for her furever home, and wouldn't want it any other way.
Roxanne is doing great and has adjusted well into our home. She is great with our son and our niece. She sometimes tries to chase our cats but every night they are always cuddled up together. She is best buddies with our other dog and they could play for hours. She LOVES going to the dog park and is obsessed with fetch. Roxanne and our Family are so happy to of found each other.
Bucky was such a cute spotted puppy - look how he's grown up!
Bucky is such a joy wrapped in a 90 pound body. The kids love him and he loves the girls too. He is playful yet gentle, intelligent yet naughty, restless and calm. He enjoys peanut butter and loves to play fetch. Over the summer, he loves to play in the yard especially when the sprinkler is on. And when it snows, he definitely would rather be outside having fun with his fur brother.
The Duenas Family
We adopted Raven fka Eva on February 27, 2016. Raven came to us as a timid, broken soul. We will never know fully what she endured on her “journey” to us, but with much unconditional love she blossomed into the beautiful, playful pup she is today. She is a big part of our family and become quite the traveler. Her true loves are hiking, long walks on the beach, any type of sprinting, playing ball and squirrel watching. She channels her inner wolf at the sound of every siren and has no shame is asking for a belly rub. She sleeps like a human, guards the bathroom door and loves loves loves the snow! The first picture was taken the first day we brought her home. I truly feel as if she knew she was safe and finally where she was meant to be. ️
Bronco is a sweet, spoiled boy. He loves his belly rubs and doesn't want to share the baskets of toys he has around the house. He thinks every amazon box has a toy for him.
He has picked me as his person and never leaves my side, including sitting outside of the bathroom.
Although he loves his walks, he prefers the air conditioning in the summer and to watch us from the comforts of inside when we’re on the back deck.
We love him and he’s our sweet boy.
Thanks,
Mandie Combs-Bosse
Titan is a great boy! He is the most handsome, loving, funny dog! He is a true family man. Titan enjoys both of my children, he loves playing ball and also laying around. He is now 3 years old. We have had him for 1 year and 5 months. His nickname is big Lug!
He lost his sister 9 months after we adopted him, who happened to be a rescue from MAGSR as well. She was the best :)
But we just added a new sister for him 1 week ago! He is absolutely thrilled as he loves to play!
Hi there,
Just wanted to give y'all an update on Endy (fka Daina).
We have had her for almost 9 months now and often can't remember what life was like before her. What did we do with all of our free time? What did we laugh at, if not for her goofy self? Who did we just sit around staring at? Haha
The point is, we sure do love this goofy girl and she fits right into our family. Endy loves to run! We found a park close to our house with a huge green space where she can run to her heart's content. She loves chasing her balls. Loves playing tug. Loves to give high fives and get an inner thigh rub. She's quite the character. She loves playing with her cousins (our niece and nephew) and really loves when they sleep over and they all sleep together in a big pile of blankets and pillows on the floor. Endy also loves going to "school" at doggy daycare to play with her friends. We are pretty sure she thinks she's a human, and who are we to crush her dreams ;)
Endy has EPI which we have learned so much about since we got her and have established care with a great veterinarian who guides us in her care. She has gained weight and is very healthy and strong!
Endy was quite the energetic girl on a leash when we got her, but we have completed training with her and she now walks wonderfully on the leash. Her only snafoo is if we see another dog on a walk. She is leash reactive in the strangest playful, aggressive looking way. She just wants to play, but she's just dying to play with them so badly that it comes off as over zealous. We have worked with our trainers on this as well and have definitely made progress.
Overall, she's our favorite girl and we tell her so all the time :)
It's hard to choose a favorite photo so I'll have to pick a few!
Thanks!!
Katie, Meg, and Endy Thompson
